One lousy run out of that situation is terrible. Top of the order and not a single hit. Awful -
Buxton could use one of those big red wiffle ball bats and still come up empty

Put a ball in play for the love of god

Our old nemesis, bases loaded nobody out

I don’t know if this crew can go around giving up free outs

Assistant TO the regional hitting manager

I always thought it was a little arrogant to have a song like that when the name of your band is wang Chung
-
Maybe the twins should get a third hitting coach
-
I don’t think anyone is saying that lol BUT he appears to be cooked. Not a SSS
-
Woooo only one K that inning! Progress!

His defense has been pretty bad too

I’m not a huge stat head but Kepler’s career WAR is twice sano’s
-
Has there ever been a more abrupt melting down of a career than that of one max Kepler?
-
SIX strikeouts and the guy has 34 pitches!!! Lmao
-
This is going really really well
-
The strikeouts are just embarrassing at this point
-
Two emotional, extremely satisfying wins followed by two games where the twins weren’t remotely a threat. I know we have to be satisfied with every little morsel of success against the Yankees but no I can’t get too excited about the end to that series. Ugly ugly strikeout numbers. No pressure put on the opponent whatsoever.

Problem is that they really haven’t been “dominant” in years. Good, absolutely, but not great. The talent gap between the two teams has not remotely been what the numbers would suggest. The bottom 4-5 guys in their lineup are a heap of mediocre light hitting players. Outside of cole and Cortes, their starting staff is very meh. Ours is certainly better.

If they do, we could shine them in the pitcher’s eyes. Every little bit helps.

No moral victories from that series.
-
Never a remote threat the last two games. Incredibly disappointing
-
I’d intentionally walk correa just so I could strike out buxton again
-
Pitching has just been remarkable. It’s like a Kia with shiny fancy rims

I wonder how much Scotts paid to be THE advertiser on MLB radio? It’s literally EVERY commercial break with the dumb Scottish guy
