Innings limit is a problem, especially if you throw 82 pitches in 4 innings. Remember the archer/bundy days? Shudder
  2. Aggies7
People saw the 3 2/3 innings Paddack threw in the playoffs last year and actually auto-penciled him into the rotation.

We couldn’t have gotten Hoskins. It was just an impossibility The FO took the momentum of the first playoff win in 2 decades and said: “yeah we good”
  4. Aggies7
    That’s terrible. **** replay
  5. Aggies7
    That’s absolute bull 💩
  6. Aggies7
    Not enough evidence
  7. Aggies7
It’s even worse if you count last postseason..
  8. Aggies7
I’m not sure this lineup could hit JEFF Ross, to be honest
  9. Aggies7
    Jeffers is just, yikes
  10. Aggies7
Don’t blow your nose when we come up to bat. You’ll miss the entire half inning
  11. Aggies7
Hard to believe the guy who’s thrown 27 innings in the previous 2 years is laboring
  12. Aggies7
    Now THAT’S a name!
  13. Aggies7
So you think this twins roster will have nearly as many home runs as they had last year (233)? I think we should bet on it
  14. Aggies7
Lewis could be out for 2 months. 1/3 of the season. “The Twins have said Lewis will miss at least a month and now The Athletic's Aaron Gleeman is saying that if Lewis misses two months it "would likely be viewed as a positive outcome" and that the Twins "need to be prepared to play most or perhaps even all of the first half" without him.”
  15. Aggies7
You are correct. The point still stands, though.
  16. Aggies7
Lewis 15, Larnach 8, solano 5 Not complaining, just stating the fact that currently, there are a whole lot of home runs that aren’t on the roster. So thinking it will “come around” is bit optimistic. The twins will have to score in other ways this year, clearly they aren’t going to lead the league in home runs, barring some crazy unforeseen things happening

We’ve lost 84 home runs from last year’s team that finished 1st in the AL with 233. These are guys not on the current roster or injured. Santana and Margot had 15 between them in 23. I would expect a decline this year in HRs, just hope it isn’t too pronounced
  18. Aggies7
    Me too
  19. Aggies7
    Lopez, Ryan and start cryin’
  20. Aggies7
I know, but I’d still want him over 4/5s of our other starters..
  21. Aggies7
Not that either of those guys or anyone else WOULD for sure be here now, but I sure as heck would take Sonny in the rotation right now. I’d even take him with the injury.
  22. Aggies7
Maybe Lopez can pitch every other day like Christy Matthewson. Would help
  23. Aggies7
I think he was approaching 90 pitches through 4. I think he was done. The guy goes max effort on every pitch. You know, like a reliever
  24. Aggies7
I thought the Duran injury was bad…the Lewis injury could be a catastrophe. The bullpen looks solid enough where maybe they can cover his loss. But The offense is punchless.
  25. Aggies7
Not to mention the reliever that started. The bullpen was darn good though
