  1. He’s gotten better though, I’d have to say
  2. Even a guy who didn’t play the outfield should know to hit the cutoff man
  3. Ain’t no way a guy named Gage Jump is one-hitting us
  4. Late inning walks have sunk the team lately. 3 walks in the decisive 6th today. Inexcusable to the bottom of the order guys. Will probably sweep the A’s to suck everyone in again for the tenth time.
  5. How the **** you gonna walk 3 guys in a row? Terrible
  6. Our revamped bullpen has reverted back to form. Sucky.
  7. Late inning walks by the relievers have been killing us. Especially to the lower order guys
  8. Leadoff error. Sure that won’t hurt at all
  9. Gonna be a loooong time before the Vikings overreach and draft a later round draft pick in the top 10-15. Ponder and McCarthy are the poster children for not reaching for a QB. And to think, McCarthy was picked to start week 1 last year on the road. As miraculous a win as I’ve seen. I think KOC would like to cut ties and move on. They see these guys every day. And I think they believe, as the kids say, “he ain’t it”
  10. So you’re saying that play at third base has an equal or better chance of being made than the one at first? I’m sorry sir I do not agree. Go back and watch it. It’s hit right at KC and machado is slow. You’re asking brooks lee to run to the base, turn around and get the tag down as the runner is bearing down. Even if the throw is caught, it’s going to be a close play. Whether he called for it or not is irrelevant. The play was at first. That’s all there is to it. Not worth the risk. And you see why, judging by what happened. With nobody out it’s worth it, with one out it’s not. Basic baseball. Why is it basic? Because at worst, you don’t have multiple guys on base with 1 out. Worst case we end the inning with a tie game instead of being down 2 runs.
  11. It’s not “from my couch”. That’s baseball 101 taught from a young age. Lee shouldn’t have called but he shouldn’t have thrown. I complimented KC on his defense earlier in the game but that wasn’t the right play.
  12. I don’t know man, the risk/reward wasn’t there. Everyone should know where they’re going if the ball is hit to them. I’m not even worrying about the runner at second. GET THE OUT. It’s a one run game and the other team is rallying. Take the out and maybe your pitcher can make a good pitch and get the third out. Instead we got runners on the corners with one out. Worst case scenario
  13. Lol no, Lee can yell for the ball all he wants. Doesn’t mean KC had to throw it to him. He’s not taking a cut off from the outfield where his back is turned. The play is in front of him. Most SS wouldn’t even look that way.
  14. Yeah, especially when the out at first would have been the second out. With nobody out maybe the risk is worth it. But not there
  15. There really wasn’t a reason to throw to third though. So he’s on third with 2 outs if you throw to first. So what? He can’t score on a sacrifice fly. Yes he can score on a wild pitch/PB but I’ll take that chance. You take the out at first in that situation 10/10 times especially with the difficulty of the play at third. Not that it mattered but that’s how I saw it
