  1. Someone call Jesse Crain and Matt guerrier. Wonder what they're up to these days.
  2. He may have been fresh, but they may need him tomorrow and the next day and the next day. Who would you really feel comfortable with in a save opportunity in the 9th if not Perkins? I ant really think of a guy.
  3. I'm also shocked he didn't challenge. Probably wouldn't have won it though. But it's like taking time outs into the locker room.
  4. Why would Perkins be brought back out in the 10th especially after not getting the job done in the 9th? There's another game tomorrow. It's a long season. Someone else in the pen needed to step up there and again it didn't happen. The guy can't pitch every big inning late in the game. If the twins plan to reach the postseason, finding out now who can and can't pitch the pressure innings will help them down the road.
  5. The inability to catch anyone stealing bases is killing the twins.
  6. Again too many missed chances early on hurts. The Tigers have our number.
  7. I do not like making negative posts about specific players, but man can we please do something with Boyer? It just hasn't been working for a long time.
  8. Oops, I sneezed and it's the top of the 8th. Solid offensive inning with a starter nearing the end of his rope.
  9. Well, knock me over with a feather.
  10. Well, whichever reliever blows it tonight will get the usual blame thrown on them. But once again, the twins have done total squat offensively. It's incredible that the (starting) pitchers continue to perform so well when they have a centimeter of wiggle room.
  11. Twins hit the ball hard today, but it's been a few weeks since they've been able to build on a strong offensive performance from the previous day. I keep waiting for them to get consistent again, but it's just not happening offensively.
  12. I didn't want them to put Perkins in either, unless it went a few more innings. You can't wear the guy out because everyone else is incompetent. At least we got another opportunity to see the same two guys not get the job done again. Maybe this will be the final nail in one of their coffins.
  13. Why not use fein? That was so predictable.
  14. Bullpen did a great job. Perk is the team mvp
  15. Great at bats that inning. This one shaping up to be a big fat L
  16. Too quick of a hook IMO, although pelfrey has been flirting with disaster all night. Asking the pen to get 15 outs in a two run game. Good luck with that.
  17. I would have walked at least one.
  18. Bullpen fails again but the offense does nothing, again. Shoulda coulda won this one.
  19. When it literally takes us three hits to score a run, bunting is probably not wise.
  20. This offense is absolutely brutal to watch. Everyone has had a hand in the misery.
  21. The fake attempted bunt drives me insane.
  22. Two runs the Reds probably shouldn't have.
  23. Remember when the Twins couldn't lose back to back games?
