  1. The big issue this entire season, among other things, is starting pitcher pitch counts. Look at this game for example, odorizzi has been decent, but he’s now at 75 pitches with 1 our recorded in the 5th. He’s not getting knocked around but our starters are just loading up on pitches before they even complete 5. The bullpen is going to be burned out in short order. Tough job for molitor
  2. I think MATT Leblanc would have a bit of success agiants this offense tonight
  3. The polanco loss seems to have been bigger than we could have imagined it. The loss of sano hurts from a “presence in the lineup” perspective, but he was doing so little, not sure how much he’d contribute except additional Ks
  4. Offense just gonna have a lay back and chill night again I see?
  5. Doesn’t he pick up the 3B coach if he can’t locate the ball?
  6. Yes, yes he did. He looks promising
  7. Just thought about this. Shaving 2 innings off every game means 162 less innings for each team to sell food and merchandise. Thats the equivalent of 18 games. If the owners wouldn’t want to trim down the schedule by 4 home games, they’d never go along with 7 innings.
  8. Very true. The offense was pretty lame this series. This could have been a sweep as easily as we could have won 3/4
  9. Yep, the angels had a terrible series in many aspects
  10. And what did we do with that? Our veteran Dozier hacks at the first pitch and pops out 80 feet from home.
  11. As has been said, we should have had the lead if he didn’t run the bases like Lonnie Smith. And then duke hit the worst batter on the field, on an 0-2 pitch none the less.
  12. So to recap the 9th: Thrown out at home on an easily scoreable play Popped out on the first pitch with bases loaded HBP on a guy hitting .146 to leadoff an inning
  13. Hitting the guy hitting .146....so deserving of a loss
  14. Twins have won two games this series they should have lost. This might be a loss they should have won.
  15. If you’re going to swing at th first pitch with the bases loaded, you probably need to hit it further than 84 feet.
  16. Gutsy win. Rodney is still not great
  17. Rodney should retire if he walks rivera
  18. I have a name for a base like that but I can’t say it here
