    Could you imagine the infield hitting! 3rd Donaldson SS Story 2nd Palonco 1st Sano The outfield should hit like studs too. Kepler, Kirilloff and Larnach Then Rooker could be next guy up if someone doesn’t perform.

    I say bring them both up. Do a sign and trade with Colorado.(Buxton for Story) They would both have to sign a long term deal. Move Kepler to centerfield for a year or two, start getting Lewis ready to play center..

    This would leave one of the young guys to start at first. Kepler, Garver, or Kirilloff? Keep Cruz or sign Ozuna for the DH? (Can Polanco DH or Garver?) save some money on the DH?

    I would love it if the Twins made a three team trade, trade Sano to Colorado, Lindor to the Twins. A couple of young players from Colorado to Cleveland and a prospect from the Twins to Cleveland. Someone in 7 to 12 range on the prospect list?

    1. Trade for Archer-Gordon,Kohl or others. 2. Trade for Machado/ Baltimore is 4.5 games out, in forth place and has lost 7 out of the last 10. Plus plays in a tough AL East. Rental player so don't give away the farm. Pitching Archer Santana Berrios ? ? Infield Vargas/Mauer Dozier Machado Sano Unrealistic but could make a run in the playoffs. Giving up defense for offense. Would be fun to watch.

    I'm a huge Twin's fan but the two National League teams would be Colorado and Pittsburgh. As a kid I loved Dave Parker and having them win the WS in 79 just topped it off. I was 9 years old. Since moving to Wyoming in 92 to go to college and when the Rockies started playing I started routing for them. I go to a couple of games every year. About 7 hours to Denver from my house. The team that reminds me of the Twins of yesteryear is KC. I know they are in the American League but they are small market and play good D and runout every play.

I would trade Colorado ABll, Gibson, Stewart, and Reed For Tulowitzki and Hundley I believe Colorado is going to go into a rebuild mode. They may end up trading Tulowitzki, Cargo, and Blackman.

    Living in Wyoming I get to watch a lot of Rockies games. Tulo is a great ss. I think it would take a lot more than the three players listed. First off Colorado is always looking for pitching. I think it would look like ABW II, Thorpe, Myers, (or Steward or May) and a fourth player. He would instantly improve the offense. He would probably hit third or fifth with Sano hitting fourth. When was the last time we saw the middle of the lineup with this much power? The eighties? I don't ever remember having a ss with this much power? (Give him some time to heal from his surgeries. Just two years ago people were predicting him to be the MVP in NL and the best ss in baseball.)

    I would think it would cross there minds sometimes. Like Adam Brett Walker III seeing all the outfielders in the organization. He might think Colorado with the thin air and less movement on a pitch would be a perfect spot for him. He might hit 45 bombs a year.

    If the Twins are going to trade for someone they should trade for Troy Tulowitzki. He's the best ss in the game when healthy. Trade one of the young ss, pitcher, and of. Meyer Adam Brett Walker Santana Take the balls out of the humidor at Coors Field where you can bring back home field advantage. When you think Rockies now or from the early years it's all about the hitters. Walker could hit 45 hr, Meyer could be the third starter behind Gray and Butler. Santana could fill in at short. The Rockies would have to eat some payroll but the Twins have been stating the Polads are willing to spend money. Or include a third team with Plouffe for more young pitching.
