    We need biggentleben to weigh in on this. I don't know Atlanta's roster well enough. My assumption is that Atlanta wants to sell high on one of their best trading chips, knowing they are at least a couple years away from contention. I don't think the Twins are in their target market here. This trade would be made with a team possessing a stable major league lineup that can part with a good prospect.

    I think it's hard to truly understand the undertreated PTSD that WWII vets contended with. I probably would be hesitant to share much as well.

    Brian, I'd have given you 5 likes. My dad is a WWII vet, but he was very young and didn't leave the US. He was in training to be a bombardier and almost certainly would have been involved in the invasion of Japan. It's easy to make Memorial Day into a nice 3-day weekend but it's important to remember stories like Russ'.

    The last four games are what I (and many others, I'm sure) envisioned back during ST. I'm not greedy; if they can each just hit a home run every other game or so that would be good.
