  1. Yes there are, but this is a family-friendly site.
  2. Red or white wine for a Pelfrey start? Or tequila?
  3. I agree on Hicks, although I see in last night's box score that he got picked off. Just not sure his head is all the way in the game. If Hicks is brought up, who goes? Robinson or Schafer? Maybe Nunez?
  4. Mmm...Schafer, Robinson and Hunter starting OF tomorrow? Either Hicks or Rosario need to start hitting and get called up. I'm running out of Tums!
  5. Understanding that a weekly award isn't necessarily a harbinger of full-season results, but does winning the award across 3 levels mean anything? Organizational depth is great, but those K/9 rates are better than caffeine for getting me excited. If Pat Dean pitches like this for a whole month, what are the chances that he's called up before Meyer?
  6. Geez, this is (unfortunately) looking pretty accurate. Do you do stock tips too?
  7. Tommy Milone is the 1st Twins pitcher to 2 wins. I can't believe I just typed that. In other news, Duensing is trying to get to the highest ERA on the team. I think we should call it the Stauffer Line in honor of the Mendoza Line. And any pitcher who goes over it should be a candidate for release. Thoughts?
  8. I'm in with the small sample size camp. We need to give this all some time, or we need to believe that Sam Fuld will maintain his 1.054 OPS. Seriously.
  9. Holy crap, you're right! Maybe TR's retirement plan is to get a reality show on TLC.
  10. I wasn't at the game and didn't watch the game. However, I did compound a rotten day at work by spending too much time watching ESPN Gamecast. In summary, was Aaron Thompson the lone star? Or can we count Plouffe's home run as building trade value? Still, I feel like I would rather watch May fight through innings rather than Pelfrey, Nolasco or Touchdown Tommy Milone. Am I alone on that?
  11. One week down, 25 to go. Pretty sure Hunter won't continue to hit .143 nor will Nunez stay at .667. Boyer is having a rough start, but the Twins typically give veterans a longer leash...at least they used to. I think this will be a good test of the new Ryan/Molitor team. Do you stash him in the back of the bullpen and not use him? Give him another week? Another month? Or do you pull him in the office and give him a choice of Rochester or go home?
  12. If Sano keeps hitting home runs, it should be Lookouts LOOK OUT!
  13. If Nolasco is out, can we bring May up to pitch Saturday, push Pelfrey to Sunday and then have Hughes start the home opener?
  14. Thanks to all for the posts. Apathy is the worst quality a fan base can exhibit, and we obviously don't have that problem. Nolasco can probably be had for a couple of Papa John's coupons if we pay 95% of his remaining salary, but is anyone else wondering if Pelfrey can win 5 or 6 games in half a season to get some value in a trade when Santana returns?
