    Well, we got one. Just goes to show, tho, unless we're playing the White Sox, who start throwing the ball all over the yard, we can't score a lotta runs these daze...

    I'm wondering why it feels with the opposing team having bases loaded-nobody out, the over/under feels like about 5 runs. While with our offense, it feels like 1. Maybe I'm just a pessimist pretty much all the time.

    OK, doing some busy work around the house. Think I'll switch back to the Sox feed, to get some peace and quiet. Luv ya, Hawkster!! If the Sox hit one out, that "put it on the board- yes!" will be kind of hipster-ironic! I'll picture Hawk in a pork-pie hat and chin beard....

    You are excused for the caps. Completely. Well, this is what I get for watching hockey instead of paying attention to the Twinks game. I'm really happy to see this move. Somehow, I just don't get the same feeling they're going to wreck this young man like they wrecked Hicks. I feel for the dude, but this is exciting for us long-suffering fans. I can't wait to see Mr. B in action.

    Heh.... Years ago, I was in Damn Yankees, back in college. I played Smokey, one of the Senators. Did that high part in ' You Gotta Have Heart.' Any chance at hitting those notes again faded away long ago, along with the hairline. Wish I could be there on Date Night!

    Haw haw haw--- caught Pirates feed- whoever's the color man is crying- 'we've gotta stop scoring only one at a time. If we keep scoring one, we'll come up a run short!' Must have been a math major, I guess. I nearly got a snot bubble over that one.

    Argh, busy morning, just got a moment to check on the game. Yikes. They seem to be trying awfully hard to blow that big lead, but the Pirates won't cooperate. In a hurry, at least. Nice to see both ex-Twinkies in the same game, eh?
