  1. Who wants to see Abad face Machado today?
  2. This could be a fun game for Orioles fans.
  3. Quentin should have a better year than Arcia.
  4. Tonkin throws cookies, and that is why he hasn't made the team.
  5. Miggy and Pujols both started at third, than moved to the outfield, but both ended up at first later in their careers.
  6. http://www.gannett-cdn.com/-mm-/48490219ecb45dfdc7394e363d72ad00f93ab68b/c=0-162-3456-2754&r=x404&c=534x401/local/-/media/FortMyers/2014/11/03/twinsmolitorbasebalbuit.jpg Steve Senne, AP Early on Monday morning Terry Ryan heard loud clamoring outside his office at 1 Twins Way which he thought sounded like some unruly protestors, and upon getting up out of his chair he realized that he was right, but instead of being greeted by angry, old, white men shouting, "Make the bullpen great again!" or mourning the loss of Blaine Boyer or Doug Bernier he was met by a bunch of millennials. These people seemed to have taken a dislike to the Minnesota Twins' baseball hats which are adorned with the familiar TC logo, and were claiming that it was showing obvious hatred and intolerance. A shocked Ryan stepped back and said, "How so? And why are you blaming me? I never had the authority to make that decision!" He was answered with the throats of about sixty, and was able to pick out of the babble, "It stands for Totally Canadian!" "Terrible Cuban!" "TED CRUZ!" Ryan was horrified that they would take a baseball hat so out of proportion, but hoping to pacify them he asked, "What do you want us to do?" to which they replied, "Change the hat logo to the initials of our candidate!" Seeing that they hadn't been clear about who they were endorsing, he found it necessary to ask who it might be, and found out it was Bernie Sanders. Ryan withdrew to have a meeting with Mr. St. Peter and Mr. Pohlad, and when they found out about the demands they wholeheartedly agreed to meet them. Mass production will begin shortly, and upon the completion of the product a free hat will be sent to every man, woman, and child living in Twins Territory, and embroidered on it will be: Brought to you by the Twins front office, BS. An extra note: The headline the next day for Salon was: Years of injustice end, Minnesota Twins Finally feel the Bern!, meanwhile on Breitbart: Ryan once again caves to liberals....
  7. Of those four, I prefer Shore. I'm working on my own first draft post, and am becoming really interested in a certain hitter.
  8. I would take Dozier over Polanco, because in case you haven't noticed, he is aging too.
  9. Don't forget Dan Ruzler, he should be in there also.
  10. Michael Cuddyer, #17 on 2003 BA list. Directly above was V-Mart, right below, Waino. Only Twins ranked ahead were Mauer and Morneau.
  11. Craig Kimbrel's salary is going to keep going up as he gets older, and although Kimbrel had a 142 ERA+ and Fien posted a 117 ERA+, with 100 being average. I am not saying that Fien should be payed Kimbrel money, what I am saying is that this is a fair, reasonable deal, and that people are worrying too much about this.
  12. Craig Kimbrel will make 11.25 million dollars in 2016 and was worth a 1.3 WAR in 2015. Casey Fien will make 2.5 million dollars in 2016 and was worth a 1.0 WAR in 2015. This is actually fair value for a seventh inning man, so I think this issue is being overblown.
  13. Oliver Perez is also very good at neutralizing lefties.
  14. We should have signed David Price and used him as a LOOGY. On a more serious note, you could go big and trade for Chapman or Andrew Miller, or go for a more reasonable piece like Jose Alvarez of the Angels.
  15. Here is Randy Rosario: And Francisco Liriano:
  16. It was actually Rob Antony who did the negotiating.
  17. I would tender a contract to all but (possibly) Nunez. Some one like TJ Rivera (rule 5), Gregorio Petit, Ramiro Pena, Andy Parrino, Jeff Bianchi, Pete Kozma, or Joaquin Arias could fill his role for cheaper, and probably play pretty similar.
  18. Well, what I was trying to say is that well people may worry about being shot with their hands behind their back "just because they were black" and that the community does need to heal and bond together, we also have police officers who are unfairly being stereotyped also, and that they need to go through just as much healing, and that we should not be afraid to view them as another sports fan, because they have gone miles beyond what most people have done for the community. If you don't understand that it is you who is being dense.
