    Recently extended, in fact. I really have to ask what are we doing with our time? We have nothing but this from a sports perspective for 2.5 months until football begins.

    It’s a shame because when he connects, he sends baseballs to outer space. Evidently the margin in his swing from .900+ OPS monster to unplayable is razor thin.

    Would anyone have guessed Trevor Plouffe would have the post playing career glow up like he’s had? He’s been thriving with Jomboy media doing podcasts and other videos on YouTube. And parlayed that into a broadcasting career

    I mean, Ober and Ryan have been rock solid for 2.5 years. Ober has to be injured more than he’s leading on. Paddack I had a feeling was going to crash down to a 5 ERA pitcher again. SWR was quite serviceable last year. I don’t understand it.

    Followed closely behind with “best bullpen in baseball” the last 2 years. The next article critiquing Falvey will be the first on TD. We can find plenty of articles gushing about how amazing of a job he’s doing. Cody Christie’s article a few weeks ago about the minor league pitching program will make the pitching pipeline ™️ a distant memory. We won’t develop a single starter in the first 3 years of their MLB career because they were capped at low innings pitched each outing. They’ll spend time ramping up to 5 innings with a quick hook, or saddled with openers.

    Twins’ ranking in average sprint speed in the Falvey era 2017 - 5th 2018 - 16th 2019 - 23rd 2020 - 23rd 2021 - 26th 2022 - 19th 2023 - 22nd 2024 - 29th 2025 - 30th Our eyes aren’t deceiving us. No wonder why the last 2 seasons are the most boring baseball I’ve ever watched from the Twins.
