  1. How does an entire pitching staff collapse like this?
  2. Followed closely behind with “best bullpen in baseball” the last 2 years. The next article critiquing Falvey will be the first on TD. We can find plenty of articles gushing about how amazing of a job he’s doing. Cody Christie’s article a few weeks ago about the minor league pitching program will make the pitching pipeline ™️ a distant memory. We won’t develop a single starter in the first 3 years of their MLB career because they were capped at low innings pitched each outing. They’ll spend time ramping up to 5 innings with a quick hook, or saddled with openers.
  3. Twins’ ranking in average sprint speed in the Falvey era 2017 - 5th 2018 - 16th 2019 - 23rd 2020 - 23rd 2021 - 26th 2022 - 19th 2023 - 22nd 2024 - 29th 2025 - 30th Our eyes aren’t deceiving us. No wonder why the last 2 seasons are the most boring baseball I’ve ever watched from the Twins.
  4. I don’t think Falvey will pick either one of your paths laid out and stay the course. They’ll make trades if they have an immediate replacement in AAA. So to break it down… Castro - Should be traded if he isn’t signing another contract here. Keaschall or Martin is ready to take over at 2B or LF. Bader - We don’t have anyone who can fill in at CF and play even mediocre defense. He should stay and potentially discuss an extension. Coloumbe - 95% chance he’s traded. Left handed and breathing is valuable and his contract fits anyone’s budget. Funderburk or Prielipp takes over. Paddack - I would trade if the opportunity presents itself. Maybe Miranda and Julien are change of scenery trade candidates in July. But my guess is that’s an offseason discussion.
  5. Same my friend. If we have to endure another offseason with the Pohlads that will be time to put my fandom on pause.
  6. Pretty obvious from his first appearance with us. But hey, I’m not a pitching program expert like Derek Falvey.
  7. Then they’re the dumbest business people on the planet. The relationship between them and the fanbase is irreconcilable
  8. If I’m wrong then the Twins country club is alive and thriving under Joe Pohlad.
  9. Are you though? Falvey and Rocco have been tied at the hip the whole time. There’s no scenario where they keep one or the other. It forces the Pohlads’ hands to fire (and pay) both of them if they keep the team beyond this season. This is a friend helping out a friend
  10. Doesn’t matter if there’s a new ownership group before then. Par for the course for this website to post clickbait time and time again.
  11. Has any team lost 90+ games in the same season where they won 10+ games in a row?
  12. They don’t make comedy movies like this anymore and it’s a shame. All of the movies in the theaters have to be Marvel/super hero BS so they can make a gazillion dollars
  13. Ryan Longwell so this NFL Network replay game must be from 2011
  14. It’s a nice trip down memory lane besides Christian Ponder leading the way at QB. Jim Kleinsasser, Percy Harvin, Mount McKinnie - they just showed Donovan McBounce Pass on the sideline
  15. Programming predicament tonight. Might flip it to NFL Network if things progress this way.
  16. Concur. It’s usually Morneau that brings down the broadcast quality with his vanilla, company man takes.
  17. A Dior mirror because he likes the finer things in life
  18. Speaking just from my experience in the corporate world. When a company I worked at was merging with another company, they elevated a C level executive to oversee the transition, then left 3-6 months after the transition was complete. That’s likely what Falvey signed up for and will be compensated handsomely for it.
  19. Not sure why Castro is in a separate tier. An expiring contract is an expiring contract. He’s a better version of Escobar when we traded him away. Get value for him if he’s going to test FA. Not sure why Coulombe wasn’t included either. Every contending team can use a productive, left handed and breathing reliever. He’ll bring in value. I have no desire for Falvey making decisions on players with control beyond this year. I hope he moves on in the offseason so we can get a fresh perspective and philosophy in the organization.
  20. Rabbits are abundant throughout the state. They devoured my poblano and jalapeño pepper plants then I made some reinforcements to the fence so they couldn’t do that again fingers crossed
  21. There’s no player accountability for making fundamental mistakes. Haven’t had that in years. Why would Brooks high baseball IQ Lee care about hustling on a passed ball final out when he’s gonna be in the lineup tomorrow? Rocco probably whispered to him “Hey bruh, next time if you feel like it, jog it out low key.” There’s the fundamental flaw with our fanbase. What does a .500 club do for anyone? I couldn’t care less about competing for the last wild card spot and get dominated by better teams. Hell, we’ve seen better teams like Milwaukee run laps around us in every facet of the game.
