  1. On popups, Rosario requires a testosterone injection or a hueuvos transplant. I have a two-for-one coupon he can use.
  2. or "forkers" and "more-forkers".
  3. It was either the fingers, the keyboard, or my boxing gloves.
  4. Pick two characters from "The Raccoon Cartoon" (see link below) http://raccoons.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Characters_of_The_Raccoons
  5. THAT is as far back as I CAN go!...Damn keyboard!
  6. "David hurls a stone from his sling with all his might and hits Goliath in the center of his forehead, Goliath falls on his face to the ground, and David cuts off his head" Rosario has an arm like a sling. Tat is as far back as I an go!
  7. And ask the SECOND poster to use the word "blunderbuss"(and therefore the ONLY possible plagiarist), I can say with TOTAL certainty that it was COMLETELY RANDOM! I read the first "blunderbuss" AFTER I posted the second one. So make it a million to one!
  8. Jason Tyner had a "Mazooka Marshmallow Bazooka" for an arm.
  9. Ben Revere has a Blunderbuss for an arm!
  10. And those who say "a cannon for an arm" must be referring to terrible accuracy!
  11. I was looking for Baseball America's opinions to refute that, but instead surprisingly, found that BA rated Navaretto the #1 defensive catcher in the Midwest League (Low-A), while Turner and Garver were NOT the #1 defensive catchers in their respective leagues (in AA and High-A respectively). So thank you for forcing me to re-educate myself. You are right. Navaretto is a guy according to BA.
  12. To answer my own question, the playoff roster isn't submitted until right before the playoff series. Anyone on the July 31 25-man roster, who is injured AT THE TIME OF PLAYOFF ROSTER SUBMISSION, may be replaced on the playoff roster. I think I got it......
  13. "Any player who is either - on the 25 man major league roster, or - on the disabled list (7, 15, or 60 day DL), or - on the suspended list, or - on bereavement leave, or - on military active duty as of midnight on August 31st, is automatically eligible to be on the club’s post season roster. In addition, a club can replace any player who is injured at the time that playoff rosters are submitted" So any player on the original 25-man-playoff-roster (who was injured at the time playoff rosters are submitted) could be replaced by Turner. Has that playoff roster been submitted?..and is it available to the public, yet?
  14. I don't think Turner could be made eligible for the playoffs.
  15. Suzuki is a tough SOB that don't need no stinkin' backup! If he got decapitated, he would stay in the game!
  16. Someone started a thread this morning by asking what the Lookouts playoff rotation would be. IDK the answer, but the regular season ended with the following rotation. 9/1 Baxendale 9/3 Wheeler 9/4 Hurlbut 9/5 Peavey 9/6 Lee 9/7 Slegers From that I would guess the rotation will be: Baxendale, Hurlbut, Peavey and Lee.
  17. "RHP Loek Van Mil assigned to Rochester Red Wings" Red Wings trying to improve their rebounding and low post defense! (7'1")
  18. Turner and Garver don't figure in Twins MLB catching plans until LATE 2016 / Spring 2017.
  19. Most teams need two regular catchers. Only two catchers caught IN more than 130 games in 2014.(Lucroy and Salvador Perez) So backup catchers on most teams are very busy.
  20. Only the first six are subject to that rule. The SEVENTH player (Garver) is not subject to that rule. That is why there are TWO Twins A-ball players...Hildenberger and Garver.
  21. The Magnificent Seven include (from Baseball America Prospect Handbook Twins preseason prospect list): #7 Burdi; #13 Turner; #15 Rogers; #17 ABWalker; #19 Reed; (2nd best catching prospect) Garver ; AND TREVOR HILDENBERGER, WHO IS NEVER EVEN MENTIONED IN A LISTING OF THE TOP 94 Twins prospects!!!! Unbelievable rise! THAT is what evaluators mean, when they say a prospect has HELIUM!!!
  22. Berrios pitched six innings tonight for Rochester, if that answers anybody's questions
