    Pretender, you see the how the Twins can play well against teams in our division, but as soon as you begin to play the big dogs like Boston we start to crumble. The bullpen right now is a bunch of smoke and mirrors. We are running into the same scenerio as we did in previous years were are bullpen will be gassed by June or the start of July. The management has to pull the trigger on trading Dozier so we can at least insert one more quality starter in our rotation.

    A lot of talk about resigning Dozier. IMO if we lock up Sano and Vargas continues to hit, you trade Dozier ASAP for pitching.

    After looking at Sano's stats regarding how many games he has played in both minor and major, I just dont think you can sign him to any megadeal without first seeing if he can actually play a full season and be able to justify the kind of longevity and price some of you are talking about. His sample size in the majors is to small and I say give him this season and possibly next to determine the size of the contract.

    Let us not jump the gun to quickly on Sano. He only has a .255 batting average in the MLB. Even looking at his minor league numbers they really dont jump out at you. His batting average has continued to fall over the last week and his strikeouts are creeping up which is not shocking. IMO I think they simply need to wait until the offseason to see where he is at. He has proven that he is a hands down all star as of yet. How many times does teams need to be screwed over with these 6-8 year contracts? Have we not learned with Mauer? In short I believe it is a simple wait and see approach. If the guy doesnt hit below .280 or so by the end of the season I would say they should consider a 4-5 year contract and for the love of God do not give him a no trade clause.

    Mauer is not the reason we have been losing games. The entire 23 million dollar point is simply not valid IMO. The team has plenty of money to spend and have refused to do so. Buxton, Santana, Kepler ect. can all be picked out for some of our losses and not just Mauer.

    I was a poster on BYTO. You had to have very thick skin when posting because people would call you out quicker than a Buxton strikeout.

    I cant take it. Buxton has to be dropped to 7th or lower in the order. Dont send him down yet, but holy hell is that frustrating to watch.

    What is scary is that the month of April can really decide our season pretty quickly.

    Every year I am optimistic about the start of the season. You have to be when you are a fan or you would hate this team. I like the schedule and I believe we will sweep against the Royals.

    A good coach can make their team give 100% every game. In no way should we just hope to tank and give up on the season.

    I have a feeling I will need a case of beer to make it through this game.

    First it was fire Anderson, then Gardy, Ryan, the hotdog vendor, the batboy, the janitor and what now.....Molitor? It was his rookie coaching year and he turned the Twins into a winning team. Smh.

    I agree. I hope he will learn somethings from this year. Hell he was a rookie coach and did a good job with a young team. He did lose some games by his coaching but overall I was happy.

    Bwwhahaha. Taking a team that has lossed 90 or more games in 4 seasons to a team that will have a winning record and your want to fire Ryan? Take some Xanax kid and we will see you when next season.

    Still a great year and we proved to the majority of the critics wrong.

    If you were surprised by the outcome of this game you were simply blinded by being a fan. My prediction is almost there when I mentioned we would lost 6-1. I was wrong by the good game Santana tossed. Was a successful season and a fun one to watch. Next year will be great.

    Not a chance in hell the Twins sweep the Royals. They will drop the first and second game. Being a realist here, but am extremly happy with how this season went.
