  1. two today (I just got home in time to see that disaster occur)?
  2. he's been having issues hitting cutoff guys (like tentative throws) and some offline throws to bases. like Gomez when we had him, a very good arm doesn't matter if you can't get it where it's supposed to go.
  3. that's the kind of play you'd expect from a guy who is so inexperienced.
  4. 2 DPs a game would be quite something. That'd be some kind of untouchable record to average 2 DPs a game. And I'm pretty sure it has zero to do with his desire to not strikeout.
  5. Strikeouts are helped by the yearly expansion of the called strike zone since 2009.
  6. It's either a good strategy or a bad strategy. All games count the same in the standings.
  7. Sano needs to work on his throws back to the infield. Other than the one he aired out and missed his target, he seemed tentative. His routes of course need to get better.overall, he looked shaky to me.
  8. I never park at TF. I usually park at the mall and jump on the light rail (if my hotel isn't close enough to a light rail stop.
  9. we could have used that great hitting catcher we signed as a PH for Suzuki there....
  10. Suzuki's bar is set pretty low.
  11. Both horrible RFs, one retired.
  12. Next article might need to be Buxton and the strikeout.
  13. Not sure I can agree with Rosario looking good at the plate. Guy still swings at everything. No plate discipline.
  14. But those tickets were originally bought by someone, right?
  15. Never went to the Met. Metrodome was a physically painful experience. The one and a half stride steps and the seats turned ever so slightly in the wrong directions depending on where you sat. Game followed by chiropractor.
  16. San Diego is awesome, though I prefer Coeur D Alene, Carmel and Portland (for different reasons).
  17. winning is over-rated.
  18. I won't hate him, but he's made a lot of horrible (and ignorant) comments/statements over the years. This is mild by comparison.
  19. yeah, Morneau for sure.
  20. Bremer is a horrible announcer. Sorry if some of you like him, but man he's really hard to listen to (so is Bert). I'll take Carneal. Simply awesome.
  21. yeah, I was just answering Brock's question, nothing more.
  22. He said he lost 5 pounds. From 268 to 263.
  23. Yeah, I'm not sure you can separate the two because his weight has only just now become a serious point of discussion due to moving to the OF. He didn't magically get this big. He didn't put on 40 pounds during the offseason. He was like this at the end of the season, when we kept being told how much of an athletic beast he is and how it's no problem and moving to OF will be no problem. Now that reality has set in, now people want to slam him for his weight. He should lose weight, for sure, but the bile thrown at him for not doing so only really started after having his position switched.
