Good final outing for Taj. But now......the bullpen😱

Pohlad's bought the Twins for $44M. They'll sell it for almost $2B. That's a bit of a profit

Liberty biberty and Flo ads are automatic mutes.

Texas is fighting for the division title so Shelton says he'll play his regular lineup. We'll be at Saturday's game.

    I like Minter and Hoffman.

How many Giant runs in the 1st inning?
  11. djvang
When has that ever happened? 😁

Bingo! Something about him just strikes me as phony. The numerous variations of face paint and the Mr. Twins Community image he tries to portray are examples. Like when Pete Rose would sprint to 1B after a walk or dive headfirst into a bag when the ball was nowhere near, to support his image as Charlie Hustle, Lewis seems very conscious of an image he wants to create. Phil Mickelson was very popular with fans but wasn't well liked by other players who saw his public image as phony. But, I could overlook all this if he would just perform on the field, which he doesn't.

DH should be reserved for Keaschall who can't be trusted in the field.

The Twins now have 14 different pitchers getting a save. The record of 15 was set by Arizona last year.

Wonder why the bullpen is getting worn out? One word - Gomez. Games are going to extra innings because of him. He should be DFA'd immediately.
  17. djvang
Well, there's a surprise. Gomez walked the first batter, Again. Turning it off.

41-7 over the powerful Akron Zips

I remember sitting in the left field bleachers at Met stadium on knothole games shouting "Hail Cesar!"
  20. djvang
Yeah, but did they beat any good teams?
  21. djvang
That's why I'd like to see them get Keaschall out of RF. Every runner takes an extra base on his arm.

One of Sano's problems is that he tried to hit every ball 800 feet. He fell in love with the tape measure HR. He was a huge disappointment, as Lewis is turning out to be.
  23. djvang
No Gomez for a hat trick.
