  1. I agree with this. Billy Hamilton should never ever be walked. He's a career .245 hitter, and that's been declining the past 3 years. Make him earn his way on base.
  2. Rex Hudler, Kansas City TV color analyst, just uttered the following; "the more runs you have, the better chance you have to win the game". I see why he has his job.
  3. Sacrifices. They count as PA's (which is what OBP is based on), but not AB's.
  4. Gibson needs to not try to pitch around Hamilton. He has a .375 OPS for crying out loud, attack him!
  5. I think most of us here, and in the Twins organization, are confident that Sano will hit better than .215 when he returns. If he does, he will not be long for the 25 man roster. However, what if you get first half of 2017 Sano? That makes this lineup extremely dangerous.
  6. But we could have had 2nd and 3rd with no outs. If there's one out I can understand it a bit more, but situationally, the right move was to make Bailey throw more pitches.
  7. Agreed, great AB by Garv-sauce, terrible decision by the 3rd base coach.
  8. Garver needs to understand that Bailey is losing his control, and let those borderline pitches go.
  9. Bailey is going to be gone after the 5th at the latest. This bodes well for our chances at a sweep.
  10. He'll do it on two. After all, he's not known for his patience.
  11. I'd like to see more from Kep to be sure, but 4.3 games worth of data is not enough to say he can't do it, particularly when his OBP is .333, and he's drawn as many walks as strikeouts. When his BABIP normalizes (it's at .250), it shouldn't be an issue.
  12. My birthday is on Saturday! It's just a birthday parade around here!
  13. I lean no, but my mind is being changed quite a bit in this series.
  14. This Royals team has a few pieces in the lineup, I don't think they're going to be a walkover this year.
