  1. I certainly have nothing bad to say about Luke Keaschall, however, it doesn't say very much about the rest of the roster.
  2. That shows me just how desperate they are in getting more people in the stadium. Putting a better product on the field would likely work better, however, the ownership group doesn't seem to be all that interested in that course of action.
  3. I couldn't agree with you more, especially your closing statement. And I've been a fan of this team for 55+ years. This is the first season I can recall where the team has basically become unwatchable virtually every game, with the entire organization regularly giving off a "We don't care" vibe to its ever dwindling fan base. And fans are perceptive enough to notice that and are responding accordingly. Losing itself isn't the real problem, IMO, it's the not giving your fans a reason to care about your product that is the real deal breaker. If both of my grandfathers, who I learned to love the game from, could see this, they'd be rolling over in their respective graves.
  4. One problem is that Atlanta is at least trying to win, which is more than I can say about us now.
  5. For some strange reason, I rather doubt it. A team that already seems to have packed it in is not suddenly going to become motivated at home by playing 2 teams of roughly equal talent that at least give the impression of trying to win. That's more than I can say about us right now.
  6. I'm not convinced that that would even help.
  7. 19-42 since the Alcala meltdown last August, a winning percentage of just over .300. Absolutely awesome!
  8. A couple of used batting practice balls? Maybe even 3, if they ask nicely.
  9. Seriously? Why would they want to do something that desperate? Do you have any ideas what a bag of used balls goes for?
  10. When you have no on-field team leaders, things like that tend to happen. A lot!
  11. And we don't know how to change the default settings.
  12. Because we hear it so often in most of their games?
  13. Tell me something I didn't already know.
  14. Apparently nothing that holds them accountable.
  15. But runs scored isn't, at least as of the last time I checked.
  16. They must be. Getting hits and driving in runs are strictly forbidden and those found violating the rules shall be punished swiftly and severely.
  17. This would be funny, except for the fact that it appears to be true.
  18. I don't care what others think, this has to be the worst team in MLB right now. I don't even care what the ChiSox, Rockies, and Nationals fans think, because those teams are likely at least trying to win, which is way more than I can say about us right now.
  19. I knew it should have guessed that!
