  1. Looks like the clutch hitting is taking the game off. Again! Sigh.
  2. Back to a lot of the same garbage we've seen lately from this team. AARGH!
  3. And we have an offense more prone to turnovers and/or kicking field goals.
  4. "Hopefully" being the key term. Unfortunately, I'm not very hopeful of them finding a way to win today.
  5. Holding down the far end of the bench is the only reason I can see.
  6. At the rate this is going, by the end of the season, we'll be giving the ChiSox a run for last place in the AL Central. Sad to say.
  7. Unfortunately, it's been more years than I can remember since we've had anything resembling a hitting pipeline. Whether the current crop of minor leaguers pans out remains to be seen. That's just as big as problem.
  8. Yet another double digit runs allowed game. This pitching staff is becoming absolutely dreadful. Combine that with an offense that usually has difficulty scoring runs, and it paints a pretty bleak picture for the near-term future of this club. And that doesn't even count all the other things we're usually not good at doing.
  9. Primarily because we're nothing more than a glorified AAA team right now, and playing like one, to boot.
  10. I've seen as much of this crap show as I can take. Time for something different.
  11. 18 up and 18 down. What an awesome offensive effort. NOT! The only reason I'm still watching is because I want to see if they get no-hit. Not a good reason, but its all I've got right now.
  12. I'll be surprised if we're not shut out tonight, sad to say.
  13. And not in a good way, which is about par for the course.
  14. This kid is making us look foolish, not that that's a difficult thing to do. Right now, I'd settle for even a walk as a win, because there's virtually no chance we're winning here, IMO.
  15. From a team where seemingly nobody knows how to bunt?
  16. CCO's Bud Kraehling doing the weather. What a blast from the past!
