Game Thread - Twins v Nationals, 9/12 @ 6:40pm
IndyTwinsFan replied to obtusebanter's topic in Archived Game Threads
And compounded by a very dinged up lineup. Only consolation is that we're back on the road, where we've clearly played much better than at home the second half of the season. -
Motion passes!
-
I would like to think that the union would want to do do something about those umps who are making the truly good ones look bad. Then again, I could be extremely naive about all this.
-
I vote for making it 12 after tomorrow's game!
-
Probably because Rocco wants Buxton's defense in the 9th.
-
For the sake of the game, that really needs to change.
-
Now what's up with Romo?
-
UGH!
-
Let's end this inning right now!
-
I find that kind of hard to believe. There must be some ways that chronic poor performers can be removed at season's end.
-
Let's not.
-
Let's add some more!
-
I think we just got our wakeup call. That was HUGE!
-
Turns out that it didn't matter anyway.
-
Maybe Rocco needs to get himself tossed, just to wake his team up. Kind of like what Gardy would do from time to time.
-
I doubt it.
-
If they did, I'd like to know what about their recent play they were basing it on.
-
With more than a little sarcasm.
-
If not more.
-
I guess we can add that to a long list of deflating innings recently.
-
Even though a VERY bad strike call, I could basically see that coming.
-
It basically defies logic.
-
He does. But I don't see it happening. On the verge of squandering yet another scoring opportunity.
-
He shouldn't need to be told. A major leaguer should know that already.
-
Some might think that we're basically in a virtual comatose state offensively right now.
