  1. And we scored a run without the benefit of a homer. Another positive.
  2. They seem to be showing more plate discipline thus far tonight. That's an encouraging sign.
  3. Sadly, that's a pretty tall order for this offense.
  4. Whenever we change that, our fortunes will likely change for the better. I just hope that comes sooner rather than later.
  5. Everyone seemingly trying to be a hero at the plate and, not surprisingly, being unsuccessful at it. Opposing teams likely know that and tell their pitchers to not give us anything good to hit because there's a high likelihood we'll get ourselves out. Once we calm down and stop trying to be the offensive hero, things will likely change for the better.
  6. I share a lot of that sentiment, too.
  7. I'm definitely not one of those types.
  8. I'm just funny that way sometimes. No logical explanation for it.
  9. This point is exactly why I passed on watching both last night and today, even with the time and the means. It just isn't worth the aggravation.
  10. And our hitters are considerably worse than that!
  11. That many? Really? I would have expected even less than that.
  12. Unfortunately, it's something we've come to expect from this team.
  13. I call it pathetic. But it might even be worse than that.
  14. A hypothetical question: When will this offensive feebleness end?
  15. With the recent feebleness of our offense, I'm not holding out a lot of hope for a comeback. However, I hope I'm wrong.
  16. Lopez should have been in to start the inning. Not sure what Rocco was thinking, unless he was hoping to help improve Moran's psyche.
  17. Looked like it, at least until the 3rd pitch.
