  1. Man, i truly hope this is rock bottom
  2. I mean, they are dropping seven into coverage and getting great pressure with four. And McCarthy has to wait for the play to develop because we need 15+ yards. Ugh
  3. Honestly, that drive wasn't on JJ at all. Holy crap the line fell apart
  4. Sure, i'd rather we had more wins but we need to develop the QB. I knew it would be messy but we need to do it
  5. Redmond playing well, again
  6. Sure, six games, time to move on
  7. LB missing a lot of tackles today
  8. No you don't. You don't think those two can win it either.
  9. Line getting blown up
  10. Oh, I usually do.
  11. You seem overly angry today
  12. Yep. He's still wild but has made a few nice throws. Strange playing calling.
  13. Down 10-6 feels ok, really.
  14. Wow, GB gets away with so many holds
  15. Vikes win. We're not cursed. We have smart people. JJ works hard. Eventually he'll break out, so might as well be against the packers.
  16. I think those are all good points. The honey-badger type safeties have really changed the game but OLB/Edge types who can rush and cover are on a whole different level than what we saw even 15 years ago. The room for error is almost non-existent for offenses. And, as you say, with less capable offensive linemen, QBs have even less time to process.
  17. I think the rule changes have helped offenses so much that the QB position has gotten too powerful. I don't think the 2000 Ravens could win in this era. If you remember the late 90s, early 00s, the QBs that got to the SB included Brad Johnson, Hasselback, Kerry Collins, Trent Dilfer, Rex Grossman.
  18. They've been playing Moreau ahead of him and a lot more multiple safety looks with Ward and Jackson combining for 14 plays last week, vs. his one. Of the list of worries I have, how Flores uses his defenders is right at the bottom.
  19. For those who like dividend stocks - https://finance.yahoo.com/news/dont-dividend-stocks-5-dividend-141500608.html I have PG. Of these, maybe Pepsi? I've been watching that stock decline for a year or two, wondering when I should nab some.
  20. Mechanics are weird. Chase Daniels' youtube review of McCarthy after the first week said he had good mechanics and a few others did too, in fact some Bears' fans were upset that Williams' footwork was worse than McCarthy's, in McCarthy's first start. Now things seemed to have changed a bit. They say his mechanics are good in practice so maybe there is something to the 'amped up' argument. But we'll see.
  21. Well, he doesn't lack confidence, I suppose.
