  1. I think Larnach should come to the plate looking for a first pitch breaking ball every time and just pepper the wall in right.
  2. Dunno, but really hope he stays healthy and we find out.
  3. Anyone else think Dick is sounding pretty bored these days?
  4. And then an inside the parker for a true cycle?
  5. What do you call a bunch of rabbits hopping backward shoulder to shoulder?
  6. Still Truckin' Edit: I can still get around on an 85 mph fastball middle middle.
  7. Let's go Gall-loh Clap clap clapclapclap Let's go Gal-loh Edit: Totally claiming this as a call.
  8. I think they got a $25m option on 2024, didn't they?
  9. Speaking of getting out of the recliner, my doctor told me I need to exercise more regularly, so every day I've been doing diddly-squats.
  10. The top is literally below belt high.
  11. Bellinger was a pretty good gamble this past offseason. A little more expensive than Gallo, but prolly a better bet
  12. It's called a wife. /ducks
  13. That ball should be caught.
  14. Easy fix. Don't get back up.
  15. I don't know what moves they have available, unfortunately. Maybe in a month Lewis is available, but he's not a middle of the order bat even looking through the rosiest of rose colored glasses.
  16. At least there was a reason for the Mahle trade. Team in first. Desperate for starting pitching. What was the thought process behind unloading Pressly?
  17. Cruz for Ryan the best, but a sort of a no-brainer. The kind of trade any noncontender makes at the deadline. Expiring contract for prospects. Still, full credit for the return. Worst is Pressly for sure. Completely unnecessary. The kind of trade bad teams make. Extraordinary talent for meh.
  18. Absolutely, positively 100 percent concur the offense is a problem. However, last night the offense handed the pen a lead. Whether the lead is 6-5, or 2-1, the job is the same. The pen gave up a five spot last night, and for the 9th time already took the L. It'd be nice to give the pen a bigger lead, for sure. Or increase the lead once on a while. But ultimately it's the bullpen that failed, again, last night.
  19. Stringer brought it up in the game thread, and I concur...Alcala will be in *Rochester tomorrow. Maybe just me, but the bullpen concerns me. Edit: *St Paul Tip o' the cap to Indiana Twin
  20. Griffin Jax has recorded 27% of the team's losses this year to date. Not really interested in hearing how unlucky he is.
  21. Which, in and of itself, is telling. And not in a particularly good way.
