  1. Had to miss the 1sr inning. Uneventful I presume.
  2. I know everyone is on pins and needles over this: magic number rests at 64 when Sox LFer Ben Nintendo leads off tonight's titanic tilt.
  3. Bonus: come August 1st you'll be able to purchase ed-ibles at specially marked Target Field concession stands.
  4. I have to admit I didn't see Gallo in CF as very likely. At least they're trying to squeeze more offense out of the lineup. Hopefully Wallner proves an upgrade to MAT.
  5. "The Cubs may place a lot of value on the opportunity to make Bellinger a qualifying offer." Nitpic: as discussed elsewhere, the mutual option will preclude the Cubs from making a QO this winter. I like Bellinger, but I think the proper opportunity to get him was instead of Gallo LAST winter. Now I think the cost will be higher than this article estimates. So no.
  6. 5-2 would have been acceptable to all of us for this road trip. Don't like to see the pitching falling apart though.
  7. He 100 percent, without question checked out mentally. With zero question about it. "I'm pitching in a mop up role now? Eff that."
  8. Lopez just pisses me off to no end. He's getting paid a lot of money to give a ****. I and others pay a lot to watch. Give yourself, your team and Twins fans an honest effort, FFS.
  9. Put him in CF until/if he needs the IL
  10. It's rather ironic, the lengths they're going to keep Buxton in the lineup...and they're succeeding. Much to everyone's chagrin. Put the man in CF already ferpetesakes.
  11. There must be some logical reason for this pitching change, no?
  12. Yeah, and it's kinda stupid. MLB players can't be expected to make plays requiring more than ordinary effort? Also, on a play like that, once the stop is made--which I agree wouldn't be an error if not made--the throw is pretty damn ordinary. Just because Lopez is late doesn't give him an excuse for a bad throw. E3, IMO.
  13. I picked up a couple rescue dogs. I named em Rolex and Timex. Hoping I can turn em into good watch dogs.
