    Sounds like it's pretty much confirmed this is Francona's last season managing. Incredible career and a clear advantage over almost every other manager. HOFer for sure. By all accounts an Incredible human being as well. The game will miss him.

    Ryan looks pretty pedestrian today. Can't put anyone away, almost no swings and misses, velo down.

    He's a below average hitter without a position who was due arbitration. He settled for a minor league deal with a camp invite from the Twins last winter. He wasn't in demand. And for the record, he's almost exactly at his career norms this year.

    Here's what I DO know: when Cleveland needed a ball in play to score a run, they got it. I believe we're oh for 2.

    2 base hit. I go with the ump's call. They're correct an overwhelming percentage of the time.

    I don't know. Neither do you. The umpire who saw it live said no. And MLB umps are really, really good. Replay umps, with the best technology available to man, didn't overturn it. I WILL say in 2023 we should have seen a better angle.
