  1. Nice snag of a liner down the line by Escobar!
  2. Willingham had himself a long foul ball in that last strike out... Wonder if he can straighten one out later.
  3. Well, swinging can distract ya from seeing where it goes. I'm sure they're gonna come through later in the game when it matters?
  4. Come on, Fryer and Florimon!
  5. What i've seen of black holes in literature and such, they can be pretty violent. Though "swing if it's outside your event horizon" doesn't have the ring of sound baseball advice... Anyway, it sounds like good weather, and hopefully it'll be a good game.
  6. I agree. And he's got a good accurate arm most of the time. Not elegant or flashy, but gets the job done.
  7. Twins caught a break on the Pedroia hit. Finally the wall causes an out (in an obscure and contested fashion...)
  8. At their own risk. He'll get to some of them...
  9. Santana on second! (I like where this is going...)
  10. Well, it doesn't help when 2 of the Sox' fly balls bounce off the wall for doubles...
  11. Hughes finally retired Mr. Holt. Small victories...
  12. Can't argue with that. Some credit probably goes to Lester and the way he's pitching.
  13. Yeah. They'll never expect us coming back from twice as big a deficit... Now we have the element of surprise.
  14. Hey, look at that... Mauer is leading off the next inning. As lead off hitter, he can start things rolling, right?
  15. My, it's quiet here... Twins facing a familiar score (1-0) and perhaps we can do more this time?
  16. I'd be happier if he led off every other inning. (Every inning would be a bit too greedy)
  17. Nah, that's the easy way to score...
  18. I hope so too. The fact that they can't shift the left fielder to halfway up the monster should make that outfield shift less effective against him.
  19. Yeah, i've been distracted by that too... It's held up through the half, though both teams have had their chances.
  20. 3 for 5 for Fryer isn't bad. (Pinto hit a grand slam for Rochester) 2 3rd baseman injured is. (Hope they aren't very injured...) I whole heartedly approve of the ne'er say die attitude that made it interesting. Thanks for the company.
  21. Hey! Dozier's back in the game!
  22. Yeah, a non-out, perchance even a hit, woulda been nice there. Oh well. We still got an inning, and don't feel like i'm going to far out on a limb in this game to say anything can happen...
  23. Funny. That just happened... But it was foul, so it didn't matter.
  24. 3rd time facing Mr. Sanchez... They say 3rd times the charm? or 3rd time pays for all? (Sorry i's not as talkative... i'm still paying attention though... kudos for the Sondheim)
