  1. Isn't there a song about a cockroach that ate Cincinnati? I vaguely remember it from a Dr. Demento collection, i think. That said, i highly approve of the house centipede.
  2. CRArko, you really got a gorilla?! Cool! I guess i do have a tuba, though a closer look at the cover of the children's book shows it to be inconsistent with mine. Funny story: i did get a tuba off of craigslist which had been mounted on the wall for many years apparently, and it had a sock and a little nerf ball in it. I disposed of the sock, i think, but have gotten good use of that ball! Asteroid day sound's pretty cool. I'll start wishing other people a happy one, if that's okay... Oh, and CBU: Pre-game Science 1, CBU 0...
  3. Concur. Feldman is the Igor. Pratchett has a good take on Igors in general.
  4. Robinson earns a walk. Now that's table setting...
  5. Oh well. I was waiting to see Rosario steal home too... But i suppose safer course was indeed to try to knock him in.
  6. Now i'm waiting to see a horse of a different color...
  7. Mauer is on the bases. Bring him home, please?
  8. K's Frazier... Maybe he's starting to figure it all out?
  9. Still 6 more innings. Hunter, i think it is time for some mentoring. Ladle it out!
  10. Is this the first inning again? Runners at the corners no outs? I thought we'd been there already...
  11. Runners at the corners, no one out. Look familiar? (Not too much of a surprise. Reds had some good fielding to retire the Twins in the first, particularly the Hamilton snag of a sinking liner off Mauer's bat)
  12. Took a while, but i guess it worked. (Perhaps now's the time to start for the bottom of the second?) 3-0 going into 2nd. Reds are up. CBU. Don't worry, Pelfrey, we gots yer back!
  13. Now 1 run in. Nothing wrong with cynicism... And that was Frazier, eh?
  14. ... it's there. But not to be confused with "new horizons in music appreciation" "Tell me Bob, is it a theme or a motif?" Anyway, game's about to start... Everyone got good eats?
  15. Has Escobar improved much, following time in the outfield?
  16. I think the secret is to get watches with only 1 hand. Better yet, you should have bought an east coast watch in your travels, and just averaged 'em. Yeah, seeing Hamilton's speed may be bitter sweet just 'cause it gives some idea of what Buxton might be capable of. And while i know what's up, i still am bothered about all this talk about how to fit Santana in. The answer's obvious and here: shortstop.
  17. Now i got the image of someone catching a ball between two bats...
