  1. Best kind of stats But we got them sitting on the pinocle of hubris. Well done Cave. Next time they'll think they can do that again...
  2. Basses loaded, no outs... Take a walk if they give it.
  3. They should know not to throw head height to Rosario...
  4. A moment from an 80s movie... (I would have liked to find a clip that included the gophers, but oh well)

  6. And the Yankees still have not posted their line up. Do i detect a trace of fear? (No really, do i? i can't tell...)
  7. Well we got O"do"rizzi pitching, so that's something. But Saturday we had "Do"bnak pitching, so that may not help.
  8. Minnesota: 0. Jake Odorizzi (R ) P 1. Max Kepler ( L) CF 2. Jorge Polanco ( S ) SS 3. Nelson Cruz (R ) DH 4. Eddie Rosario ( L) RF 5. Mitch Garver (R ) C 6. Luis Arraez ( L) 2B 7. Miguel Sano (R ) 3B 8. M. Gonzalez ( S ) 1B 9. Jake Cave ( L) LF
  9. Let me explain the ALDS thus far... No there is too much. Let me sum up: Episode V (III, sir!) The Empire Ks It is a dark time for the Twins Fan base. Although the Bomba title has been claimed, Imperial troops have driven our Rebel forces from the Yankee Stadium and pursued us across the country. Evading the dreaded Imperial TV network, a group of freedom fighters led by Nelson Cruz are entrenched in Target Field in the remote ice state of Minnesota. The evil Pinstripes look to dash the hopes of the upstart Twins, and silence the mighty bomba stick, the last hope for order and peace in the MLB…. (John Williams wasn't available so this wiil have to do) To take a cue from the song, what beverage goes well with this game? And if you care to share, what songs remind you of which good times? I am skipping a rehearsal tonight to devote my undivided attention to this game. Not sure that will make a difference, but i'm doing it. And please forgive my lack of patience in posting this before the line ups have been released. I will return to complete my game thread, you have my word!
  10. Do you take sugar in your tea?
  11. And plenty of it. I don't think we can reverse jinx ourselves out of an 8-1 deficit. But i won't give up as the game is less than half over.
  12. Bases loaded, no outs. We got them right where we want them. Wait a minute... We're the team that has trouble with that situation.
  13. Smarty... oh smartie. They hand lots of them out late in October.
  14. Well, one person can hit a homerun. Convening usually implies some measure of team work. At least that is my convention.
  15. Not quite. I think we jumped out first and they answered. Maybe this is a reversal of roles...
  16. Me too. I think it all started when Squirrel posted the line ups as Us and Them. The floyd is pink today.
  17. Up is good too. Never thought of us as coulrophobic before...
  18. Does that work? I'll try... though i don't know many pirates of the airwaves...
