  1. Being a patient i think usually means one is being treated. Not sure it means they're cured yet. I too will try to be a little patient myself.
  2. 2020 games he appears: 14-8Other 2020 games: 7-8 Previous seasons have shown a similar trend. Meep Meep Meep Meep... It has been backed up (and safely too) with stats. (Sorry... one just gets certain images in one's head.)
  3. I liked Vargas. Will be a little sad to see him go. But it'll be nice to see what Donaldson brings to the game tonight.
  4. I got no problems with that. Edit: I will go further and state... I, sampleSizeOfOne, approve of this plan of the Twins to win the next 12 games. (Remind me... how far will they get in the post season with 12 straight wins?)
  5. Sorry, i guess that would False Colors... on the other hand, i'm pleased to find the blurb survives as a description of the book on the publisher's listing: https://www.simonandschuster.com/books/False-Colors/Richard-Powell/Prologue-Books/9781440558498
  6. And while i'm lacking real book cover recommendations, False Colours by Richard Powell has one of my favorite dust jackets ever.
  7. Now that, sir, is a fine book cover!
  8. A lot as happened since the last win, eh?
  9. Nicely done, Adrianza! Concur. (beats getting ninja'd)
  10. Actually looks interesting! Though at a glance, i don't see any book covers there... My query also prompted me to think what book covers i would recommend... Still thinking, though obviously i chose a book cover as an avatar when i joined this cite. Kids book, but i still really like that book cover. Book's not too bad either...
  11. Than yourself judging after the trade has played out. (Did i get the context right? it was spread out over a few posts)
  12. I don't think so. But i'm all ears. Any book covers ya recommend?
  13. Pretty sure you can always judge them. You're just a lot more likely to be wrong.
  14. I like the use of the pinch hitters! (though hard not to like things that work, as the reverse is also true... or do i mean converse?) And i hope this jump starts 'em.
  15. True. Though it did sound like he read it was in the dirt as it was thrown and was off at that point, and honestly, he probably woulda been out if he hadn't. So he should get friendly credit for good base running, even if the stat doesn't reflect a stolen base.
  16. Was that a stolen base or a wild pitch? Probably the latter, but gosh... Could be argued either way.
  17. Just glad he was in foul territory and that wasn't an NBA style acrobatic save to keep the ball in play.
  18. Wow! Kudos to Cave on that near miss catch...
  19. Hurrah! Hope we don't let the Sox off Thielbar's hook either.
  20. Would Sano have scored a bigger run?
  21. Lima beans... Arraez gets taken out tryin' to advance on a ball in front of him. Oh well. Happens to the best of us. Hope everyone is okay after a hard slide on the tag.
  22. Tie game. Keep those boulders coming, and we may get a hill of our own...
