  1. Wait for it... Game ain't over yet. (hopefully we can get foghorn leghorn to do it...)
  2. And isn't alto a type of saxophone? Sounded like the saxophonist's* name... Mr. Seger is playing from memory... Some reason i always thought it would be played from written music. And i would be disappointed if the publisher didn't put the page turns in the right places. *oph as in sophomore. An artisanal pronunciation of sorts. (obviously, same goes for those who play the wrap around marching tuba)
  3. Did we win yet? Oh wait... hour change goes the other direction cdt->edt...
  4. Oh yeah. Congrats to the Gophers.
  5. I imagine this has been pointed out before, but... Sometimes Thielbar, well he eats you... (Far from some kinda eastern thing...)
  6. So teams choose spot in tiebreaker process based on head to head (to head to head?) record. Got it. Likely early choice is homefield advantage, but later choice might get their choice of matchups.
  7. One moment while i read the above link before questioning how they determine home teams for the tie braking games...
  8. I really like seeing Astudillo remove his hat for pop ups. Staying in good form should he be called upon to catch, where that is more important to do.
  9. So Jays need help to tie... I hope they get it tomorrow.
  10. Nope. Almost wanted to see it confirmed. Almost as though the thought was to catch the ball just as it hits the runner, cause ya can't apply a tag any faster than that. Likewise the runner also seemed to turn in the slide and not come in contact with the base as quickly as he mighta.
  11. Pretty crazy tag by Simmons. Will this be reviewed?
  12. We doubled our lead. If we do that every inning....
  13. I tuned in for the first Royals hit. That's my fault. Sorry.

  15. Cooking it seems like a bad idea... And i appreciate bad ideas as much as the next TD poster, but i would be sad to see harm come to this work of art.
  16. Yup, the fake game broadcast by a media conglomerate is over, with my team losing. Hurry up with the real game update, pretty please with sugar on top!
  17. I should play more trombone...
  18. Sorry, top of 8th, still 11-6. What would CB think my incompleteness?!
  19. Runners at the corners with 2 outs and Jeffers at the bat.
  20. 11-6 Buxton gets forced at second, but his speed might have contributed to an overthrow of first.
