  1. It's okay to stop at first if the ball doesn't leave the infield... Nice stolen base by Polanco, by the way.
  2. Someone also said "unbecoming." That's gotta count for something.
  3. I guess Sano is not quite as fast as Buxton.
  4. What, never? (Give three cheers and one cheer more...)
  5. I helped run one of those in summer camp on summer. Me and the and the other counselour running it joined at the tail end of the last one, and were doing it nearly the length of the small field to the point where i was losing them amongst the leaves overhead. At that point i think i missed one, splattering all over my pants. And got try a couple more times to use up all the eggs i think i got 1 out of 3 at that distance. It wasn't until later that night the other fellow told me they were breaking in his hand early on, but he had someone feeding him new ones.
  6. The yolk's on him... I gotta say i am fond of the food group too...
  7. Makes perfect sence to me, but who would believe it?
  8. I googled adze, and it showed me adze ads... It's kind of a cross between a hoe and an axe. And a pullet is a young hen apparently. Apparently there is an i in ignoramus...
  9. No sort of about it. Has all the earmarks of carefully constructed Chiefish joke. Now all i gotta do is look up pullet and adze to get it...
  10. Might i suggest a new strategy? Move into the Pacifica. It would be like a new migratory bedroom community. But if that proves to have unforeseen drawbacks, my usual technique for a single trip loading is to put a large blanket on the ground, put everything on the blanket, then grab the corners and lug. This becomes a bit more precarious the fewer corners you can grab, but depending on the blanket and load, may not invalidate the technique. But if you can grab all the corners, and haul over your shoulder, it is strangely satisfying, and feels vaguely like a reindeer driven sleigh should somehow be involved...
  11. Me and my dirty mashed potatoes... Sorry about that. Tomorrow is a new day. Or something.
  12. I think they are playing the long game, lulling everyone into a false sense of security. But i could be wrong about that.
  13. You, sir, can watch scoreboard circles around me! How are the Twins doing? They are the team i follow.
  14. Good antijynx. Anyone else notice the 5 run lead?
  15. Ever notice how the scenery improves when the cart is before the horse?
  16. Oh yeah, Mr. Riverbrian's interpretation of the meaning of sweep does not account for the possibilities of rain outs. Just saying... But of course the point is these should be good games!
  17. There are indeed times when it is good tobe nondeterministic.
  18. Oh, and i know math is frowned upon, but rumor has it there is a recent publication baring on question of P as it relates to NP. That could while the time until the game starts...
  19. That was not bad. Sky comma! Now i am looking for a reason to add heavy metal style superfluous ümlaüte and calling them sky colons.
