Please let Joe know his computer is safe and sound. His guests just didn't want him to be distracted for tonight. My understanding is that it will come back next month, so he should find something else with which to keep himself occupied. Oh, and the thesaurus wasn't them. Personally i would be intrigued to read a ransom note written by people who would booknap a thesaurus...

I like how we get to play our likely post season adversaries during the end of the regular season. And the fact the Yankees swept us leaves us like a rake in the grass... (um, i hope the hard pronged kind used for dirt and the like, rather than the kind for fall leaves) That said, i also hope we take care of business and whipe 'em out...

If belated is okay, i can't really take credit for the Twins winning one of their remaining games. Somehow it wouldn't feel right without a card though. And considering all the exciting intros you write, it would be small reward if it were tame and bland...
