    Seems like there are quite a few players who have a good thing going right now, but it seems like Zach Granite has been mentioned a lot lately. So I looked up his last 10 games on milb.com - not much in the way of power, but he is hitting .447 and his OBP is .500! SLG is just .474 (1 double, 16 singles over 38 ABs), 4BB/1K. In his last 30 games, he is .390/.449/.537, with hits in 27 of those 30 games, and multihit games in 17 of those 30. That's a good run.

    Always a fun read, and always good to have a guy or two building up their potential in the minor leagues. Seth, one question regarding the Eddie Rosario text - and I swear I'm not trying to turn this thread into another Arcia thread - but you mention Vargas, Santana, and Arcia getting sent back to AAA after some initial success, and relate that Rosario suffered the same fate, but "didn't sulk." The word "sulk" has come up a few times when discussing Arcia's 2015 AAA performance. Do we have a quote from anybody that says he or (Vargas or Santana) actually were sulking at Rochester? It's such a unique word and has been used over and over again, but I don't ever recall seeing a quote that this was the case. I obviously could have missed something...did I? Is there a quote or quotes from people in Rochester that says these guys were sulking (or moping or pouting or whining or other synonym), and (implying or outright stating) that's why they sucked at AAA?

    I agree. We need to dump Sano from the outfield immediately. While he's on the DL. Tell him he's playing 3rd now so his hamstring can soak in the good news and heal up properly. Tell Plouffe he'll make a great cheerleader.

Let's keep sacrifice bunting early in games. Teach everyone to sac bunt when it is 0-0 in the 2nd. When they get to the bigs, they'll know just what to do.

    At my college roommate's graduation party, I ended up making out with a hottie named Darcy for a good long time. To make this relevant to the game thread and baseball in general, you need to know that I like baseball and she happened to be at this party and Riverbrian mentioned graduation parties and that was the first thing I thought of. DID I WIN YET? Yes I did.

    Everything seemed to tail down and away from my right handed swing. I beat a lot of balls into the ground, and when I tried to go with the pitch I hit what would have been weak pop ups down the right field line. My line drive rate was probably around 10%. I'm finished.

    Based on my performance at the 65 mph batting cage this weekend and the fact that I am 45 years old, I think we can declare that I am a bust. Buxton has a little time still.

    I agree that Meyer should get a start...sooner rather than later, but it seems to me that the only place Molitor intends to put him in is in a blowout game as a reliever. I think the smart move is for Meyer to start in Milone's next start. The worst** that could happen is that he gives you something less than 5 innings, which is no different than what you have gotten from Milone. **I know that's not the literal worst thing that could happen. A yet to be observed meteor could come crashing to earth wiping out the dinosaurs that are secretly hidden away in a secure facility in southwestern Australia, which could result in Meyer only going 2 or 3 innings, so bear with my usage of "worst" and focus on my point that I'd like to see Meyer start instead of Milone because Milone hasn't been very good and Meyer needs a shot.

    Did we win yet? No, we didn't. We didn't win yet, and we're not going to win again. Maybe sometimes. But not enough. So, no. We didn't win yet.

    I really don't understand exposing the 3rd catcher to waivers either, for David Murphy. Especially because when Danny Santana comes off the DL, we have to figure out what to do with our 7 OFs (Arcia, Buxton, Kepler, Sano, Rosario, Santana, and supposedly, Murphy). They really need to clear 2 of these, and clearly, it won't be Murphy if they are going through the hassle of getting him up here. So do they send both Buxton and Kepler down? If they try to send Arcia down, he's gone (claimed) and that would be absolutely stupid to lose both the 3rd catcher and Arcia for David Murphy. I'm not even making a point, so I'll be done here. David Murphy.

    There is definitely some sort of afterlife. First, you see a bright light. Then, you end up near the top of Target Center. From there, I saw Him wearing a Tigers hat, and he had a big, thick mustache. Although maybe that wasn't Him. Maybe I caught the last 10 minutes of an old episode of Magnum, P.I. Anyway, I assume He wants us to repent for something. If I see Him again, I'll ask.
