    The more I think about it and talk to people I am wondering if the Twins could somehow mis out on Stewart, Appel and Gray. What if HOU takes Stewart because they want a pitcher with high upside and that is cheap which Stewart is both. Then CHC could take Appel or Gray and COL could take the other. Idk how likely that would be but it kinda makes sense...

    Fort Myers and Cedar Rapids are having great seasons, and alot of it has to do with Sano and Buxton playing at an elite level. Hopefully they are the type of players who win wherever they go and bring that to the Twins.

    Couldnt agree more, you cant pass on a guy that had that type of season for a super risky HS pitcher thats 4+ years away from the bigs. I think if he drops to the Twins they have to take him, it would be a steal for sure.

    In Trouts first season in CR he played 81 games, so far Buxton has played 53. I calculated Buxtons stats if he stayed on the same pace through 81 games and compared them to trout. Trout- .362 AVG, 76 R, 113 H, 19 2B, 7 3B, 6 HR, 39 RBI, 164 TB, 45 SB, .454 OBP, .526 SLG, .979 OPS Buxton- .348 AVG, 89 R, 109 H, 18 2B, 11 3B, 11 HR, 61 RBI, 180 TB, 40 SB, .444 OBP, .578 SLG, 1.023 OPS They have very similar numbers but Buxton is showing more power with more XBHs. Trout hit over 30 HR in his first season and is on pace for around 30 agains this year, so could Buxton be a 30+ HR hitter too? I think so, I think Buxton will be better than Trout overall too. Hopefully Buxton can continue to put up similar numbers or better numbers than Trout did as he moves up the system all the way into the bigs.

    I was just on Kfan dotcom and was on the Common Mans website and he had a list of the "Most poposterus statements uttered in 13" and I saw one on there that kinda made me mad that he thought it was poposterus, here it is- 80) Jim Callis (Baseball America): "Minor Leaguers Byron Buxton and Miguel Sano could become close approximation to Mike Trout and Bryce Harper." Why does he think thats poposterus? I mean Buxton had so much hype before the season and hes done better than people thought he would, same with Sano. They have the talent to be as good as those two or better. Oh and good job on the podcast, they are getting better each time.

    I liked this one alot better than the last, except the audio on 1 of the guys was messed up. You should make them longer though, maybe 45mins? I love the Gleeman in the Geek podcast because its over 1.5 hours.

    Terry Ryan is disgusting, I cant stand him. I would do anything to get him fired. I wish the Twins had a GM like the Wilds Chuck Fletcher, he stocked the Wilds system and signed the 2 best FAs last year and made some other good trades for good players.

    Hes worth giving up as much money as he wants. Rarely do you find a pitcher that has a fasball in the mid to upper 90s with 3 other plus pitches. When you think of other pitchers with 4 plus pitches Verlander is the first name to pop into my head. Hes got so much potential its not even funny. If the Twins had a shot at him they better pay up and grab him. He could potentialy be a guy that wins a team 20 games by himself, how many guys in the league are capable of that?

    I dont care if hes hatting on Sano and Buxton by rating them out of the top 10, but when he says there ceilings are just as high as guys like Arcia is when I get really mad. Arcia is gonna be good and has alot of potential but Sano and Buxton have waaay more potential. This guy says Sano and Buxtons future overall is 6, same as Arcia who also got a 6. Thats just BS, and he has around 6 guys in the top 10 with a future overall of 7 while Sano and Buxtons is 6. Buxton has more potential than anyone other prospect, Sano isnt far behind.

    Baxendale keeps on impressing me every game. I am sick of seeing Gibsons name in Rochesters box scores, call him up and lets get this kid some experience. Looks like Sano had a decent game aswell. Hopefully Buxton can return soon, its kinda boring watching the box scores when hes not playing.

    Are you sure this is updated? Becuase the more I look at it the more I think its the same as before, and it doesnt say its updated anywhere...

    This is the worst top 100 ever, ha. Really Buxton at 18? And Sano ahead of him at only 11? Come on a crack head could make a better list. Thats not the only horrible part, it also says Sano and Buxtons ceiling is the same as Rossario and Arcias. We all know Sano and Buxton have a waaay higher ceiling than those 2. Theres also like 6 guys in his top 10 that have an overall future of 7 while Sano and Buxtons is only 6... Thats very hard to believe, Buxton has the most potential out of every prospect.

    I dont get how so many Twins fans are so oblivious. If they cut a deal to save a bunch of money its not so they can spend later in the draft, its to save money. I dont think they will but if they do I will be super mad. Theres a reason you take the BPA, I dont think I have to explain why.

    You dont gain an advantage for a specific sport. If you take enough you get a ton of energy and drive aswell as Euphoria. You feel like you could run 10 miles without breaking a sweat, its gives you kind of an invincible feeling. A good comparison would be its like you have a ton of adrenaline that you can control and use it to your advantage. And on top of all the energy and drive is the Euphoria. You have a wave of pleasure running through your body.

    I was just watching The Rundown on MLB Network and this guy came on and told us his top 5 draft prospects. I didnt get his name but he was 50+ and talked soft. Here it is 1. Kris Bryant 3B 2. Mark Appel RHP (Called him his sleeper pick) 3. Reese Mcguire C 4. Ryan Stanek RHP 5. Mason Smith OF I was blown away the whole time he was talking, I couldnt believe this was his list. How he came up with these 5 as the top 5 IDK? But I do know nobody on this planet would agree with him. The best part was when he called Appel his sleeper pick.

    I really hope they take either Appel, Gray, Bryant or Stewart. Yea the top 3 may be ahead of Stewart but hes still in HS, in a couple years he could be a way better prospect than they were at that age. I think they will take Gray or Stewart.

    I dont get how anybody that knows even a little baseball think Yadi is even close to Mauers level? It blows my mind how many people think hes better, its mostly casual fans I guess. First off Mauer has a better career avg in every single stat category, and most of them arent even close. Second Mauer has had 6 seasons with a WAR over 3, Molina has had 1. They have both played 9 seasons and this year. Every season through the first 8 and this year Mauer had a way higher WAR and OPS. They think just because last year Molina was better that hes better overall. Thats just insane! Out of 9.5 seasons Mauer has been better 8.5 of them, but Molina is better for some reason in their eyes.

    Why would he be in the top 30 again? They arent gonna pick some prospect, maybe Profar but hes in the league. Buxton is only 19 in low A, you cant choose that guy over All stars and top young players that are in the league and performing. Hes got the potential to be the best player in the league but thats potential not a garunteed thing.

    WAR is the best stat, maybe OPS but those are the 2 stats I look at to judge a player. Every stat has a flaw, I just think WAR is the best because its a stat to show a players overall production and it doesnt have any huge flaws like AVG. AVG is one of the worst stats imo, I mean a single is valued the same as a HR. We all know that is total bs. Oh and I dont compair a position players WAR to a pitchers WAR.

    Thats another angle to look at but if hes getting jacked up before games hes giving imself an edge. Unless you have felt that edge you dont know what im talking about. It gives you so much energy and makes you feel so good. You feel like superman. It would allow him to have a high energy level and be able to sustain it throughout the game. Everyone says its so amazing how he keeps his velocity up in the later innings, this could be the reason hes able to do that.
