    I asked the question of AI “what is Byron Buxton’s career batting average when he is a designated hitter?” The answer came back as he has hit between .220 and .225. Aren’t we looking for a bit more than that from our next DH? Especially if Byron doesn’t have much success with hitting with runners in scoring position. Let him have the surgery and see if it is successful. If we have baseball in 2027, let’s see how the first 6 weeks of him playing goes and then some hard decisions will have to be made.

    What the heck was Larnach doing on that play. Starts back, had to run in to make the catch, then lollipops a throw to the mound, and no one is covering third. Next play, isn’t fast enough to catch the ground rule double pop fly.
