    So, after consulting with our official Church of Kreidler tea leaf reader a second time, they have let me know that Kreidler is actually due for a homerun at some point during the Guardians series. They mentioned it could even go into the Angels series - but, one is definitely coming up in the home stand! But, on a serious note, this was a fun game to watch! It seemed like the Guards were really siked out going into this game - so many errors! I'm betting we can keep them on the back foot for the next two games! Let the wins keep coming!

    When I am not watching the Twins dominate on the Field of War - or, if a field of war isn't available, a standard baseball field will do - I am a voracious reader. I have read a few different books about the sport over the years, and just finished reading the recently published book The Magic Game: The Spirit and History of Baseball's Superstitions, Rituals, and Curses by Addy Baird, which I very much enjoyed! My favorite was Big Hair and Plastic Grass: A Funky Ride Through Baseball and America in the Swinging '70s by Dan Epstein. If you have any books that you've read about the sport that has brought us all together, please share them! I'm always looking for other recommendations! And if you've read either of the ones I mentioned, what were your thoughts on those books?

    As an early Caratini adopter, I’ve very much enjoyed being proved right 😆 But in all seriousness, I could not be more thankful for that signing! An injured catcher is a pretty safe bet at some point in a season - talk about a position that takes their lumps! And managing to have two catchers who can both hit AND defend? Loving it!

    This last week has been one of my favorite this year as a Twins fan! I was terrified going into this weekend, especially after Friday. But then Saturday… Might end up being the best game all season. And considering this was without America’s Favorite Tinman, our 3x All-Star?! And Kreidler needed a week to recharge… His chakras… The outfield caused them to fall out of retrograde. As we saw today, just a few innings at shortstop and they should be fully synced again. Very excited to be seeing the last game against the Angels next week! The chance to be in the same ballpark as Our Most Athletic Leader?! I’ll have so many sermonettes to make…
