  1. Lewis is a premium player who plays at a position the organization has plenty of depth at. If the right offer is made, I say go for it. But it needs to be, as the author mentions, a blockbuster deal.
  2. No idea what you're talking about.....

  4. LOL! The cool thing, if the Twins do actually take CC apart, my original is available for posterity. If not, my original is available for mockery. Win Win!
  5. Sigh. Mind fixing? Though, if you decide to leave it, well, makes the disclaimer all that much better!
  6. Disclaimer: The author in no way is implying that he is a medical expert. In fact, the author does not claim expertise in anything. Which, is probably stating the obvious to any of those who have kept an eye on game threads over these last couple of years. Thank you for your patience and please remember to put your trays in the upright position before we enter the holding pattern. Regards. Vendor number 3, row 4, aisle 6, Target Field.
  7. After the exciting win yesterday, and after perusing the game thread yesterday, I came to the conclusion some of the Twins faithful needed some help surviving the game Nothing like high comedy, drama and angst....all in one game, which encapsulates everything that goes with being a Twins fan this year. The highs and lows of following the Twins this year have been nothing short of spectacular. Now, the Yankees come to town and they've been playing good baseball, boo!, and, have been a Twins nemesis for as long as Target Field has been in existence. Not to worry, though, Twins fans, because I have come up with the perfect way to deal with watching the Twins play the Yankees: And now, for some random thoughts. (Is there any way to add a bit of reverb to these things so this comes across as the portentous announcement it is? Pretentious?) 1. Yankees. Enough said.2. Twins. Enough said.3. Twins fans: Hoping to survive the next series.4. Twins bullpen. Said too much already. Pitching for the Twins: Martin Perez Pitching for the ************ Yankees: C.C. Sabathia 5. Play ball!

  10. I'm going to copy this one for safe keeping. Delete button remains active for a few days, I believe.
  11. A double play grounder shouldn't happen off of Liam Hendricks. He's a hard-throwing strike-out type of pitcher these days. The Twins are going through a patch where they just cannot catch a break. For instance, early in the game, the batter obviously went, yet the 1 base ump called no swing. Berrios' pitch count climbed after that. And again, the Twins just couldn't seem to find the third out. A bunch of little things are going wrong and it's just enough to cost the Twins these games.
  12. Gee, two outs, and the third out eludes the Twins. This is snake-bit territory.
  13. I can't even get upset over Rogers blowing this. He's had way too much put on him.
  14. Okay, not sure I want to know how the Stones have survived this long...
  15. Amazon Fire Stick and an MLB.TV subscription here.
  16. Been DFA'ing pitchers and the FO knows they need another lefty, correct? Who's available? Edit: Just noticed you said the "A's." I'll let my comment stand, as I'll own my lack of reading comprehension.
  17. Yes! I was waiting for the Grossman I remembered to make an appearance!
