    Cool. I don't like the Twins running themselves out of an inning but they were aggressive the whole inning and tied the game.

    I'm not excusing crappy pitch selection but there have been some other factors that have been beyond Gibson's control.

    I think Gibson has been a little snake bit this game. That Hardy double was a fluke. The non-double play and Castro dropping the ball didn't help either.

    1. Gibson came inside. Cool. 2. Gibson needs to let his defense make the plays behind him. I don't think he quite gets that the infield and outfield will, for the most part, make the plays. Unlike a couple of years ago.

    This is why I think Gibson is a change of scenery guy. Just seems to be one of those things.

    Morris has been pretty good. He's grumbling and growling about Gibson because he thinks Gibson has the stuff to be better than he is. I find it hard to disagree. The reaction by Gibson to the run he gave up showed me someone who needs to learn to shake things off. Gibson probably knows his career is on the line and isn't coping with the pressure.

    Yeah, much as I'd like Castro to have hung onto the throw by Buxton I have to admit Hardy hit that ball square right up the middle. Probably lucky Hardy didn't put it over the fence.
