  1. I thought the proper answer was "Yes." I award you no bonus points.
  2. Which one is the most unexpected: Rosario walking twice in the same game or Mauer being one triple away from a cycle?
  3. No problemo. Gives Mr. Mauer and excuse.
  4. Update: Joe Mauer is one triple away from the cycle. Yes, you saw that correctly. Joe Mauer is one triple away from a cycle.
  5. Okay, baseball people: Both 1st and third and cheating in on the bunt attempt. Double steal time?
  6. Example 25490000 of why the ball needs to be put into play. Good job, Mr. Dozier!
  7. Okay, that was excellent by Gibson. For whatever reason, shook off the error by Kepler and got Longoria.
  8. Yes, I think that is a fairer assessment than what I said.
  9. I didn't like the outcome but I did like Rosario forcing the Rays to make the play. Keep the pressure on!
  10. Nooooo! Jack is channeling Bert, "drop the barrel of the bat.."
  11. Maybe it's a matter of "if they ain't calling it, go with it."
  12. That Gibson, I want that Gibson! The one that just struck out the last batter!
  13. AND MAUER PULLED THE BALL!
  14. Terrible call. I cannot believe that was overturned.
  15. I was thinking more along the lines of "I see Scraps is a boy dog."
  16. Yes.* *This has been a Chief stand-in remark. However, this in no way implies the person making the remark is, in any way, affiliated with aforementioned Chief.
  17. I wonder if that is a bit of Gibson's problem? He needs to trust the people behind him a bit more and relax.
  18. Okay, now that I've liked the opener, probably should go back and read it. Now that I've read the intro, excellent job!
  19. Beer is probably health food compared to pop.
  20. Yeah, the team is winning. One doesn't mess with a winning formula until the formula no longer works. Anyway, the Twins have some good young talent in the field. Before looking at position players, the Twins should be looking to upgrade pitching. Although, perhaps the rotation is more than serviceable with Santana, Santiago, Berrios, Mejia and whoever else. (I don't see a future with the Twins for Gibson.) It's been an interesting year, to say the least. Fun, too.
  21. No, actually, after the years of futility, it's more like, "Who are these people and what have they done with the Twins?"
  22. So, out and about, not able to watch, no problem. Caught the highlights via mlb.tv. Excellent job, Mr. Dozier!
  23. That was a cool play, Jiminez to Mejia. I believe that's the first time I've seen a pitcher tag a runner out at the plate.
  24. I like the Will Clark anecdote. Shoot, the quote about Clark wanting you to ask your own questions, in and of itself, is a remarkable quote.
  25. I don't know about math, but I know rabbits are good at multiplying.
