    Jones is on the DL but will probably start in AAA. You could replace Jones and Bard with Burdi and Jay. I think it would be interesting if an entire bullpen came from one Draft class.

    A possible Bullpen strictly from the 2012 Draft???? In a draft that nabbed Buxton and Berrios (and to a lesser extent AB Walker) the Twins drafted Luke Bard, Mason Melotakis, JT Chargois, Zach Jones, Tyler Duffey, DJ Baxendale and Taylor Rogers. Some relief pitchers are already making an impact, some are on the cusp of a Major League career, some are still projects. What are the chances of that potential Bullpen?     I was listing 4 types of pitchers that would come to a losing team. KC is one example. My point was that high quality pitchers don't sign with losing teams.

    No team-changing pitchers sign with last place teams. FA #1 starters are hard to come by. Jack Morris was a 1 ... and he was coming off a bad year. Hopefully Minnesota becomes competitive soon and will be an attractive spot for a FA. Until then, they will keep signing "hole-pluggers"

    What pitcher would want to come to a team that lost nearly 200 gms in 2 yrs? It would be a mid to low quality pitcher. Any halfway decent pitcher would take a little less to go to a winning team. As a Twin fan I realized that the FO can throw money at a FA pitcher, but that doesn't mean they want to come here. What you will get is mid-to-low level pitchers like KC, or pitchers coming off injuries like Pelf. You take chances on other pitchers and hope to get lucky like Hughes, or you overpay for mid-level pitchers like Nolasco. Until this team becomes competitive again, FA pitchers willing to come here will be the likes of KC. For someone who makes 5mil a year, I am happy with the production of KC. The only problem I see is that he was put into a 2-3 starter role instead of the 4-5 starter he actually is.

    Kris Johnson deserves a start....Florimon needs to be released. Burton might be the odd man out of a 13 man pitching staff

    Are the twins a little light on OF's in Rookie ball???? The didn't re-sign about a half dozen OF's over the winter. Will they draft more OF's than any other position?? It seems with promotions to higher leagues they might be thin. Thanks

    First....you are going to need the kind of team that top FA's want to come to. Until then...you get to overpay for mediocre talent. It is a process back to being a legitimate contender...

    Deduno to the DL, Diamond waived, Worley 5th starter. Gibson and Meyer to AAA with Albers and May. Johnson waived, Dean and Darnell battle for 5th starter in AAA. Someone ALWAYS gets hurt so the waives might not be necessary.
