  1. It's tough having Willi in the outfield and Brooks at 2B. You have to keep Brooks' bat in the lineup, but would prefer him to play third. I would like to see Royce DH, Lee at 3B, Willi at 2B, and then Wallner, Bader, and Buck. Oh well, Larnach has been ok as of late. Wallner's gotta start hitting.
  2. Alright, everyone, new month with hopefully better results. I haven't given up on this team. Royce is back for good. Hopefully, the month of June was just a mirage for our pitching. We still are #3 in the league in fWAR and top ten as a staff in K/9. Let's start July off with a bang!!!!!!
  3. Tonight's game will start in a delay, shouldn't be a lengthy delay though.
  4. How are we all feeling going into this weekend's series against baseball's best team? I have intel that Festa will be starting tonight, but who knows?
  5. It's a good thing there's no rain tomorrow; I'll be at the Saints game. It seems that baseball games in June have been hit or miss this year, and mostly a miss.
  6. Yeah, it doesn't look good, up until about 4 PM or so.
  7. We need a productive SWR start, come on, Twins!!!!!
  8. They can be dead for weeks, and then all of a sudden turn it on.

  11. Nick Lodolo's first two June starts 9.1 INN 10 H 9 ER 8.68 ERA So, how will he do against this struggling Twins lineup?
  12. Hahaha ummmmm Lee can go to third and Castro to the infield......
  13. To add to this, Wallner only had 38 at-bats vs lefties last year and 20 this year; those numbers pretty much say he's a platoon player when a lefty is on the mound.
  14. Yeah, and they brought up Keirsey Jr. instead of Gasper, to pretty much not play him. I'm not sure; it doesn't make sense to me. Bring up players who are producing and put them in the lineup, regardless of the matchup. That's my take.
  15. No Wallner in the lineup against a lefty. At this point, wouldn't he be better than Bride regardless of the matchup?
  16. At this point, Larnach no, but Wallner has only 11 AB vs lefties this year with three hits and a home run. Not a lot of AB, but I don't think we view Wallner as a platoon-type player, do we?
  17. Have fun at the games, I hope you get to see two wins. The Astros have been playing better, winning seven out of their last ten games. Twins face two lefties and a tough righty, so not in their favor, but who knows? Will Rocco let Wallner and Larnach start against the two lefties?
