    Congrats to Byron Buxton on being the 7th Minnesota Twins player to reach the 20-20 club. 21-21 on base stealing attempts this year, and still holds the best SB% of any player in MLB history with 100 attempts. Kudos my guy.

    The primary difference lies in the movement: a sweeper has significantly more horizontal break (approximately 15 inches) compared to a slider, which typically breaks around six inches. The sweeper also tends to be thrown slower, allowing it more time to move across the strike zone.

    This has been SWR problem his whole young career. Walking batters and not being able to get enough batters out with two strike counts. It's like he doesn't trust his stuff.

    Yep similar in that they both have break to them but a slider tends to move side to side and a curveball tends to start up and then drop vertically.

    There's definitely truth to your statement. I haven't pulled the numbers to see how he compares but I have heard a lot of pitchers say how great Vazqy is calling games and working with the pitching staff.
