  1. I think something is close but not yet finalized. IMO
  2. Twins radio said Duran took his glove and left the dugout to go back to the clubhouse.
  3. Good to see McCusker with a knock. He's really fighting it lately.
  4. I wouldn't think so. The Twins have a ton of OF options if they want to go that route.
  5. If I had to pick it would be the Mariners package but yeah not enough in it to consider.
  6. According to the Mariners his swing was long and his approach was to "kill the ball" last year, and that's what attributed to the high strikeouts and a bad 2024. He worked with his swing and timing and started out 2025 really hot and has continued to play well. .858 OPS is good for a C, and his ability to get on base and use his speed is a huge plus. I do agree with you about his defense, it will need some work, and I think the Twins should ask for more, but he's a starting block.
  7. Who's ready for Pierson Ohl's Major League debut. Predictions? Thoughts?
  8. I think that's the main reason they wanted to try him out in LF. He has only strictly played C and DH this year in Triple-A. Having Raleigh will almost certainly make the Mariners include him in any deal. IMO
  9. The trade offers keep coming in on Joe Ryan. SI.com has put together three "can't refuse" deals. The Red Sox seem to have the most interest currently. Let's see what everyone has to say. 1. Boston Red Sox Twins get: OF Jhostynxon Garcia OF James Tibbs III RHP Luis Perales Red Sox get: RHP Joe Ryan I think if this deal were on the table, the Twins would have to think long and hard about it. Garcia is a ready-now 22-year-old OF. The #2 prospect in the Red Sox system and #89 according to MLB.com. It would also net them a 22-year-old left-handed hitting OF James Tibbs III and their best RHP, Luis Perales. Would this deal be enough for the Twins to pull the trigger? 2. Seattle Mariners Twins get: C Harry Ford SS Felnin Celesten 1B Tyler Locklear Mariners get: RHP Joe Ryan RHP Griffin Jax This deal would ultimately get the Twins their catcher of the future, a young SS, and possibly a slugging 1B that they have coveted for years. The Twins might want more, considering Jax would be included in this deal. 3. Chicago Cubs Twins get: RHP Jaxon Wiggins OF Kevin Alcantara RHP Brody McCullough Cubs get: RHP Joe Ryan I don't like dealing with the Cubs, but this deal would give the Twins a very talented RHP in Jaxon Wiggins, a 6'6'' powerful OF Kevin Alcantara, and another RHP, Brody McCullough. The Cubs want to address SP, so maybe the Twins like this deal or offer a counteroffer. https://www.si.com/mlb/twins/minnesota-twins-rumors/reacting-to-three-can-t-refuse-trade-offers-for-twins-joe-ryan
  10. You could try going into the dropdown by your profile and look under the activity tab.
  11. There's another Paddack trade story in the news section, maybe that's the thread you're talking about?
  12. Disappeared to me as well. A ton of comments missing??? I will see if ADMIN can get them back.
  13. Maybe Wednesday? It would give him the full four days off since he pitched Friday night.
  14. Pierson Ohl will make his Major League debut tomorrow vs the Red Sox.
  15. It's evident with Dobnak thrown in the FO is trying to shed as much salary as possible.
  16. Can't be much value there, but the Twins needed to do it. We will see how much they are willing to give up.
  17. We need Correa and Buxton to knock in some runs. They have hit LHP well this year. I hope that trend continues.
  18. Maybe mine transferred to you, I haven't got any in two weeks, but before that, all the time.
  19. Yeah, he's been okay against RH hitters; the only thing I see is that he's given up 13 HR, eight of which have been to RH hitters. Maybe that will be to the Twins' advantage.
