If you thought keeping Joe was the best course, now you're even more adamant about communicating an extension and expressing faith in him. If you thought he needed to be traded in the off-season you're holding your breath and hoping even more that they do something. Quick. Red Sox? (Sonny reunion) Tigers? (Nooooo!) Dodgers?
