  1. True, way more than anything we'd get from Bell - but my thought is the same, signing someone like Josh Bell does nothing for your team.
  2. Good job, Zebby. Should have a 2 or 3 run cushion but alas.
  3. Pete's hard hitting analysis is the reason I keep coming back.
  4. Caratini is in the same category although I guess if you squint, you can see a rationale for having your starting catcher in 2027 after Jeffers leaves and the Twins top catching prospect is probably 2 or even 3 years away.
  5. Josh Bell reminds me of some really dark days in Twins baseball when they would sign the likes of Jerald Clark, Kevin Maas, Dave Hollins, Roberto Kelly, et al. The most you can hope for is Bell gets on a heater and improves his trade value towards the deadline but even then, a Josh Bell trade, at best, gets you lottery ticket prospect. There's nothing to be gained and it creates a bottleneck that reduces opportunities for young players.
  6. Okay, Bell. Hopefully the double last night got him back on track...
  7. Way to get out of it, Zebby. But...yeah, it just feels like he stills throws batting practice. Might get soft contact occasionally and have guys hit the ball at someone but I don't think it is sustainable long-term as a starting pitcher.
  8. Ugh. Buck out of the line up. Hopefully not a long-term thing. Hip flexors can be tricky.
  9. Sad for Wallner and hopefully he can figures things out in St. Paul and get back with the Twins. But...Kreidler - meh. Not going to move the needle at all.
  10. Welp...see you gents and gals tomorrow afternoon. Gonna get a head start on sleep.
