This team never hits Clase so they have 6 outs to do something. -
Typically, he doesn't chase. And people equated that to his having a good eye.
-
Paddack deserves better. He's pitched like a stopper today.
-
Whatever these guys are being 'taught' by the big league club, it's not working.
-
Eddy doesn't chase but that doesn't equate to having a good eye.
-
AK needs to sit but there's no alternative.
-
And trending towards 0-5 thus far.
-
Paddack is sharp. One bad pitch this far.
-
Ask Tim Anderson...
-
He saw three straight four seam fastballs generally in the middle of the zone.
-
Another double play...
-
Baltimore and the Yankees are in a class by themselves. Cleveland has owned the Twins for the last couple of years and I'm not sure why. On paper, the Guardians aren't anything special. I guess it's just fundamentals and better managing. Those things matter.
-
Julien is completely lost up there.
-
Julien, Larnach, AK, Miranda, Wallner. Each one has gotten worse over time. Even more of an indictment is someone like Larnach who gets sent down, makes adjustments and is swinging well when he first gets back up and then we start to see a big regression.
-
Miranda goes yard.
-
But they do better when they first come up, then we see a regression.
-
You have Julien just sitting there watching pitches pound the zone. Then there's other hitters who are swinging at breaking stuff that is at least several inches off the plate.
-
I just don't understand their approach at the plate.
-
Welp. Two runs will probably be enough.
-
Double play incoming...
-
Disgraceful.
-
Their approach at the plate is awful...
-
Hopefully all it is.
-
Correa hurt?
-
Zero fight in this group.
