  1. This Festa looks like is hard to hit despite the stats. Very herky jerky motion and pitches quickly. Tough to get a read on him.
  2. Remember though, he 'had' to pitch on Thursday.
  3. Not sure if 4 runs will be enough tonight. Gotta break through against a very bad bullpen of late.
  4. Sands will get the 7th. What happens after that?
  5. Welp, at least they still have the lead. Time to get some insurance runs.
  6. Not going to get on Rocco either way - could see them trying to squeeze 6 innings out of SWR. At some point, the training wheels need to come off.
  7. Give them 5 innings SWR and see what you can get out of Henriquez and Sands.
  8. Father Time's undefeated but I think Santana can hold him off for another year. Re-sign him?
  9. Curious move by Bochy letting him pitch to Santana. Festa was warmed. Heaney hasn't hit 100 pitches much. Recipe for disaster.
  10. Lots of folks complained when the Twins signed this man.
  11. Don't see Santana fooled like that very often...
  12. Heaney's soft tossing meatballs up there. Twins need to start doing some damage. On cue, Double M...
  13. He's from my hometown. The library here has an exhibit dedicated to Desclafani. So from that standpoint, I was excited when the Twins traded for him. I just don't see where he fits in when you hopefully have Pablo, Ober, Ryan, SWR, Festa, and Zebby.
  14. I don't love the idea. I'm not expecting baseball to go back to the 1980's when relievers had rubber arms, pitching everyday, and starters would go 220+ innings. But...with that said, I'm skeptical of any rule that could potentially result in more pitching injuries. Seems like there's a correlation between the pitch clock and health...if you add this to the mix? Good luck.
  15. Oh, like I said after the 1st inning. That one was over. For Texas :)
