  1. Cleveland won again. Division is starting to look like a pipe dream. One team is well-managed (by a rookie no less) and the other continues to shoot itself in the foot.
  2. Game over. Infuriating these last 2 games. Rocco specials.
  3. They better wake up because Oakland's playing good ball right now and could've easily won 2 games against the Twins last week.
  4. When this team goes into a funk offensively, they stay there for a while.
  5. Over the course of 162, you're going to drop games and series that you 'should' win. The Twins' problems this season come down to the same issues - bullpen usage and the hitting (or lack thereof).
  6. 'Pen takes the L on paper but when you score 4 runs in two games against a very pedestrian staff, the offense is the issue.
  7. Those AB's in the 6th and 7th didn't look like you had major league hitters up there. That stuff comes home to roost.
  8. The bullpen is left holding the bag, but when you string together 5 hits through 7 innings and make Armstrong look like he's he a HOF reliever, this is what you get.
  9. This game reminds me of last night's game where the Rays consistently put pressure on the Twins - and the Twins didn't return the favor.
  10. Agreed. Oakland's pesky and they're playing good ball right now.
  11. 18 pitches across 2 innings for Armstrong. Boys must be itching to get on that plane to Oakland.
  12. Now would be a perfect time for Buck to get on track...
  13. I guess they want to keep Varland stretched out in case of an injury to the rotation, but I'd be curious to see if he can do any better (or worse) than Sands...
  14. Twins need to scratch a run across here and then the let the rain come swarming down...
  15. Arozarena would be in the HOF if he played the Twins all the time.
  16. Haven't been enamored with the home plate umps this series. Before Rorvedt's single off Sands last night, there was a pitch that very much looked like strike 3 - and one that had been called as such throughout the game.
