  1. Sort of. He hasn't been awful today. That passed ball loomed large.
  2. Lee has such a smooth swing. Just stay healthy. Sky is the limit.
  3. Awful at bat from Jeffers followed by a great at bat from Max.
  4. Last night was a dud. Get back on track today! Presuming the weather cooperates but that looks ominous.
  5. Pumped for Lee to make his debut but feel awful for Lewis. Tough blow to suffer another injury so soon.
  6. I'm being greedy...hoping for tonight!
  7. Wondering if there's something with Lewis' front leg and how he swings the bat. IIRC, the injury he suffered against the Reds last year was similar in the sense that it happened during the swing rather than running out of the box.
  8. Feel bad for the guy. He's usually so optimistic and positive. Hoping that it isn't too severe of an injury.
  9. Solid win against a really good pitcher. Fingers crossed for Lewis.
  10. This is a good baseball team. If they want to take that next step, they need to be better around the margins. The three L's on this road trip were the result of either questionable bullpen usage, pinch hitting moves that weren't made, inability to move runners over, and just brain-dead plays in the field. It's July 1st so perhaps this is just what this team is - talented but not sharp enough.
  11. Very nice win last night - will be glad when the West Coast trip is over and I can stay awake. Thought the Twins were going to miss Castillo this series. Oh well. Expecting a solid outing from Ryan.
  12. Hopefully Ober can duplicate his performance in Oakland. Seattle's an interesting team. Their pitching might be the best in baseball. If they ever start to hit or make a trade(s) to improve the line-up, they're a team no one wants to see in October.
  13. I was all for retaliation. Correa's the franchise player (for now, Royce is on his heels). If he gets hit, you hit one of theirs. Simple for me.
