You're right. It shouldn't. But the penny pinchers aren't too likely to buy-out the last year of the contracts on top of paying a new front office and manager. -

Oh, for sure. I just don't think it is that hard to get the Twins to do those things. A manager with a pulse is a good start.

This series shows me that the Guards aren't 'that' much better than the Twins. The gap between the two teams is pretty thin. One team is well-managed and executes. The other does not. Some new blood in the dugout next spring and the script could flip.
