Royals will not contend next year. Lugo and to an extent Wacha are fool's gold. There's not much in the minors and Perez is going to eventually lose out to Father Time. Even with Witt and Pasquatini, unless they become exorbitant spenders, the Royals look like a .500 team. Cleveland will shed payroll. Naylor and/or Clase will be moved instead of getting the hefty arbitration raises. If the baseball gods simply stop frowning down on the Twins and give Correa and Lewis 135 games and keep the starting pitchers healthy, 2025 could be special. -
T-Bar, Blewitt, Castillo and Tonkin likely available tomorrow out of the pen.

This is a four game series. Tampa hasn't fallen off too much despite a bit of a sell off at the deadline. They're a dangerous team. Twins need to be sharp.

That 6th inning was huge. Game could have gotten out of hand after the first two runners got on.

Bottom line for me. I love the Twins. I enjoy this place. I vent and complain about the Twins. I cheer when they win. I don't attack posters that a different opinion although I have been attacked. I don't disrespect players or even Rocco. I criticize. There's a tangible difference. If complaining and critiquing aren't allowed, then I'll avoid the game day threads for the time being.

Well that's just it, right? You fan your way. Others fan their way. Why do you feel the need to call folks out? Some of the things you're talking about it, I haven't posted in that way and frankly, I don't see anyone else doing it either. Who is questioning players' dedication? Where's the disrespect? There can be criticism without it being disrespectful or questioning someone's dedication. I've always been of the mindset that if you don't like content, scrolling is your friend. So long as it's not personal or targeting individual posters, I think this should be a safe space to express opinions without people looking over their shoulder with a tsk, tsk every time there's a different opinion.

I've never understood the fan police. People cheer for their teams in different ways. I'm passionate. Happy when they win. Frustrated when they lose, especially when it's self inflicted. I enjoy the banter on TC and I love watching baseball. It's just better when the Twins are winning or at least playing up to their potential.
